scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
If you think about it, this makes good business sense. I used to live in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles Slimes are bleeding subscribers. Pissing off half of your customer base is bad for business, but the Slimes would rather go bankrupt than do anything to moderate their editorial content.
While I admit this is sleazy, the WSJ could sell one paper tailored to San Franfreakshow and another to Podunk Idaho. This might actually improve sales.
