Also, very glad to see she's wearing ear plugs inside the ear muffs. While the muzzle brake on that giant rifle will cut a lot of the recoil, the sound of it is absolutely damaging to your hearing. Good ear muffs and earplugs just barely attenuate the blast down to the non-damaging level, but I'm sure her head was ringing. Best case for a suppressor that ever was, and still wear the muffs and plugs.
The .500 Jeffry can be loaded to push a 600 grain bullet (39gm, 1 1/3oz)to nearly 2500 feet per second. That's like firing TWO of the hottest 300gr .45-70 "Ruger only" loads at the same time. Recoil is up around 150 lb/ft. No wonder she was wincing.
Katharina Vikor is about 5'5" tall, and looks like a doll. What a tough doll she is!
The difference between her and the NY Daily News urinalist who screamed & cried about firing an AR-15 can't be measured. This is what that clown said about firing the AR-15:
"The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don't know what you're doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable."
Seven year old girls don't have any problem firing the AR-15, but this sniveling coward almost died, as you can see. A real woman like Katharina wouldn't know what to make of this worm!
