What’s happening
On April 6, a Saturday, my wife Judy ... known to most of you as mother superior, and without warning, had a fatal heart-attack. I’m still working my way through this. This by way of explanation. Thank you.
For so long, we wondered as to your absence. only in our darkest thoughts did we imagine it could be this.
May the God of All Men be with you, may He wrap His arms around you and hold you and your family close in His tender mercy. She is with Him now; nothing will ever hurt het evermore. Our prayers are with you.
I know there are no words that can ease your pain for your wife’s sudden passing or be of help at such a time but I want you to know how deeply sorry I am. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
It isn't given to us to understand the why of such things. We can only trust in God's infinite mercy and in His promise that we go on to a better life where there is no pain or sorrow. Believe in that and have faith in His wisdom and healing.
There are few good words at a time like this. Know simply that prayers have gone out for her, for you, and all those she leaves behind. Know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. If you want or need to talk, let me know.
I hope these next words make sense. - I pray the Lord takes my beloved first as I cannot bear the thought of her grieving me. May God grant your heart peace today if only for a few moments.
I am very sorry for your loss. -Bill ----------------------------- The Rose Still Grows Beyond The Wall

Near a shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light: Watered and fed by morning dew, Shedding its sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall, Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength With ne'er a thought of fear or pride, It followed the light through the crevice length, And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before. And it lost itself in beauties new. Breathing its fragrance more and more.
Shall claim of death cause us to grieve, And make our courage faint or fall? Nay, let us faith and hope receive, The rose still grows beyond the wall.
Scattering fragrance far and wide, Just as it did in days of yore. Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forevermore.
HFS, Roger! Keep her alive in your memories. Remember the good times. Forget the bad times. Live each day to the fullest for we never know when we'll be called.

Rodger, We are sincerely sorry for your great loss and the difficulty it must have been for you to write about this tenderhearted matter. We pray that the Lord bless and keep you close in His heart as well.
Very sad news. Been coming to your off and on for nearly fifteen years, and I always loved your Mother Superior references. Sounds like she kept you from getting too crazy (in a good way).
Oh Rodge, I'm so sorry. God grant you peace and healing, and keep her soul with Him.
