ReplyDeleteWhat Baxter said, used to be taught in public schools. I know because I remember. I am only 52. How quickly freedom, respect and national pride are being eroded through deliberate indoctrination.

The last time I read a vetenarian's work it was the All Things Bright and Beautiful collection by, James Herriot. So, thanks, this Vet' also has a sense of humor. :D Juice
The first time I saw it I got chills. His words do express what used to be a universal sentiment, it's still the one I choose to recognize.

ReplyDeleteInteresting you mention NPR, Babalu. I've heard Black on there about half a dozen times. Mostly apolitical, always anecdotal, and always interesting. Nice to see what he looks like. Agreed on the hat.
