Last
evening, thanks to Mother Superior's diligence, and TIVO, we watched
the most remarkable television show I've seen in some time.
National Geographic's
Eye of the Leopard
is so good that I feel like I got my entire month's cable subscription
back in one swoop. Two folks spent three years filming ... oh
hell. Click the screen and watch the trailer. It will air
again Saturday night. I'll try and remind you. If you don't have
cable, ask someone who does to record it for you. Did you know
that the leopard's deadliest enemy is the .. baboon?
What can a baboon do to a leopard?
ReplyDeletePeter Capstick wrote a couple of times about baboons and leopards. And how dangerous baboons could be.
ReplyDeleteSporting goods store that used to be nearby had a bunch of trophies displayed on the walls, one wall was skulls. One of the skulls was a big male baboon; looked like a small lion, huge fangs.
Yes, leopards make very nice stew, especialy the young ones.

ReplyDeleteKill them.
Got it set to record- thanks Rodger!
