scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
I'll tell ya JMcD, we were recently walking in an area on the CA coast that posted cougar warnings. NEVER thought of any cat being that big, or we'd have high tailed it out of there!
There have been a couple of sightings in the past weeks here in San Diego in park areas right up against heavily populated areas. I attribute it to old ladies letting feral cats run free.
I attribute it to the eco-morons setting out to deliberately put big cats on the endangered list [by asking people exiting parks and wildlands "Did you see any wildlife?" "Uh, some deer and I think a bunny." "No lions?" "Oh! No!" *p00f* endangered.]
You ain't gonna see a lion unless he wants ya ta see him -- usually just before the gnawing commences.
We had a kill last week about a mile down the ridge [goats in their nighttime pen up against the fella's house] and we discovered a kill here last year. Big buck - 'bout 100-150 lbs. Cat smelled us and when we came back the next day he/she'd moved it. Picked it up so I hadda get down and search for sign. No drag marks at all. Moved it a couplafew hundred yards.
Geez...Like putting a Muslim in charge of the virgin locker!
ReplyDeleteHA! Speaking of taxidermist... have you seen this at snopes?
