"Hitler" political analogies are rampant, I know, but judiciously used the analogy is useful because ...
Hitler, unlike Lenin, Stalin, and Mary L. Landrieu, gained power through the democratic process. He was elected.
Lenin/Stalin, by virtue of longevity, were worse villains, but there
is no Lenin/Stalin Channel to document their living legacy, and ....
Hitler is the only bad guy the United States has confronted in the past
century whom Liberal scholars will acknowledge in their history books as being a bad guy,
so ....
More school kids know who Hitler was than can name our current Secretary of State..
So, everybody agrees he was a villain of the first rank.

It's because I know so much about Hitler that Obama scares the crap out
of me. I mean really. Like Hitler, there is nothing nuanced
about Barry Hussein Obama, save for his past public record, which is
mostly buried. Like Hitler, Obama telegraphs his intentions in
thought, word and deed. His autobiography (that Bill Ayers, head of the Weather Underground, almost certainly penned for him), is replete with examples of hatred for the United States,
and Marxist radicals he turned to for guidance and succor.
To that mixture add Jeremiah Wright, Lewis Farrakhan, Frank Marshall
Davis, et. al.
Here's the latest ghostly reminder from George Santayana - and fasten your seatbelts - The Messiah is demanding that people investigating ACORN be themselves investigated for suppressing the vote. From the Heritage Foundation:

Want
a preview of what an Obama Department of Justice would look like? Look
no further than Obama for America General Counsel Bob Bauer’s letter to
Attorney General Michael Mukasey from last Friday. Bauer wants the
Special Prosecutor investigating the U.S. Attorney firings to start
investigating John McCain, Sarah Palin, and other Republicans including
Sen. George Voinovich (R-OH) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI). Their crime?
Calling on our nation’s law enforcement officers to investigate wide
spread reports of voter fraud. Bauer writes:
As Election Day approaches - just as in 2004 and 2006 - Republican
Party officials and operatives nationwide, including the candidates
themselves, are fomenting specious vote fraud allegations, and there
are distorting indications of official involvement or collusion.
…
Accordingly, I call on you and Special Prosecutor Dannehy to expand her
investigation to include these matters, all of them entirely consistent
with the pattern of misconduct already within her charge.

Thank you Europe
ReplyDeleteOh, don't blame the Euros. They gave us Burke too. I've always said, scratch a dem and you'll find a goose-stepping totalitarian.

Hey, you stole that from me!

Of course you have to omit the word "paste" after the equal sign. It has to read .. ="http://"..
The UK is not Europe (Burke). Click on the text of my fist comment to read about WU's plans to eliminate 25 million.
I'll inform the EU.

Actually Hitler himself was never elected Chancellor, President, or Dictator.
ReplyDeleteWhile his party won majority status, the only election he can be considered to have won was an up or down vote on the law his cabinet passed that eliminated the office of the Presidency, rolling the powers into the office of the Chancellor -- with Hitler as the Chancellor, a job he was appointed to.
It was more of an erosion of checks and balances through media control and manipulation, thuggery, and subversion that allowed the power to be concentrated in the dictators hands.
Having recently finished "Liberal Fascism" I'm quite impressed by Obama's resemblance to Mussolini, more so than to Hitler. Notably his recent promise to bypass congress if they don't act quickly enough, and have the EPA impose the huge new energy taxes by declaring carbon dioxide a "dangerous pollutant".
ReplyDeleteThanks, I was taking literary license, but Hitler and the Nazi's had won enough seats in the Reichstag to give him the necessary leverage to eventually squeeze the Chancellorship from Hindenburg. Oui?
ReplyDeleteCasca, I like your posts, we are brothers, but Turkey is about to enter the EU - that don't make Turkey part of Europe.
ReplyDeleteThe Anglosphere, the United Kingdom and the United States and Austraila, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, etc have never, until recently, suffered from the European Disease - Communism, Socialism and Facism. The Continent has been the source of so many dangerous and destructive ideas. just as the Western gun overran the far east, the Western marxism overran Russia and China. Many people died.
