America 'Disintegrates' in 2010

News that Al Farnken will evidently succeed in stealing Ron Coleman's Senate seat caused me to revisit this Russian's prediction that the United States will be in Civil War by 2010.  I've worried about the inevitability of it for several years, but Franken caps it for me.  If I was a character in an adventure novel, playing the role of a DC taxi driver who picked Franken up at Reagan Airport, nobody would see him again.  Reading that novel would not upset me in the least either, because in real life I have no moral qualms about dealing with criminals run amok, in what is now a lawless society.

Of course all that is really only fantasy.

It would not surprise me in the least to learn that the Russian Professor, himself an ex-KGB player, had a part in bringing things here to a boiling point, eh wot?.  His map however is ridiculous.  It represents the end result of some Yalta-like summit, where our enemies carved the nation up after subjugating us militarily.  In fact, a civil war would result in a mass exodus of refugees fleeing for their lives.  MoSup and I would likely head for the Virgina Tidewater, or mountains.  Liberals living in Texas would head for the closest den of leftists, prolly San Francisco.  Read about Bosnia for a better sense of what happens during a civil war.   People are killed for he sake of killing. It truly is Hell on Earth.  The American Civil War was not a a civil war.  Bosnia was. Another secession of southern-western states would be a Godsend for the nation about now.

The thing will quickly evolve once the breakdown of military loyalties became known.  Who controls the air, and the nukes? Truth is, I'm so disgusted with this gummint, I don't really care.  I pay taxes and obey laws now out of fear, not through loyalty to a gummint I detest,   I would like a Schumer or a Franken trophy before they get me though.

Where the hell is my freaking Prozac?

Harry Reid - A Living Lesion
Harry Reid is the very embodiment of what the United States Senate has become.  On the left is Reid declaring the Iraq War lost in 2007.  On the right,  his Meet The Press  declaration that  he never said what he said.  Rather, Reid declares that  his "criticism"  led Gen. Petreaus  (or Betrayus, as Reid's Moveon.Org sponsors called him) to modify his plan accordingly, which led to the ultimate success.  Like I said, the very embodiment of the Senate.
