ROFL!
FDIC "Tells Banks" To Quit Cooking The Books!

From: The Tickerguy
To: Ms. Sheila Bair, FDIC Chairwoman
Regarding: Your FDIC Statement Nonsense

Dear Ms. Bair;

You know full well that essentially every bank in the nation, including the largest ones that went through the so-called "Stress Tests", have been intentionally mis-marking loans "held for investment" at or near par even when there is essentially no chance these loans will be satisfied in full, and that this practice has been going on since the housing crisis began.

These include defaulted loans; there are literally millions of Americans that are living rent-free, right now, because their lender has sent out a NOD and then done nothing else, despite never paying another penny toward their mortgage.

Why is the bank doing this?

That's not hard to figure out.

If the banks foreclose and sell the property then the sale price becomes the indisputable mark to market on that paper, and avoiding that mark is absolutely critical or these banks would be forced to recognize their own insolvency.

Thus we have people who live in their houses for more than a year with nothing more than a NOD in the mailbox, we have people who have had their homes foreclosed upon and then the bank has refused to perfect title ... (sigh)

Hell with gold.  I'm stocking up on black marketable stuff.  Spam, soap, women's panty-hose, jam, canned chicken, tuna, salmon and hams.  AA, AAA, 9 volt batteries.  Night vision equip.  OTC drugs.  Typewriters, paper, and mimeo equipment.  Fleet enemas and Musk for Men.

Bad Judges

San Francisco

After watching this (2006)  statement by San Francisco Police Offers Association President Gary Delagnes, you'll want this answer.

POA Institutes Periodic Judge Watch

Superior Court Judge Kay Tsenin

In an anonymous survey of attorneys last year by the San Francisco Examiner, Tsenin was characterized as unprepared and biased. Two defense attorneys, who asked for anonymity, said that although Tsenin's heart was in the right place, her grasp of criminal law put her at the lower end of the learning curve.

Prosecutor Pelosi describes Tsenin's bench philosophy concerning defendants as "lost souls whom you guide home She's compassionate and wants to believe in people."

Apparently still be on the bench.

Our current rulers summed up in 2 minutes:

Born Liar

Suborned in the U.S.A.

The birth-certificate controversy is about Obama’s honesty, not where he was born.

Aboard Air Force One , President Barack Obama reminds a "senior minded" Willie Mays that he stole a game winning hit from him in the 1954 World Series.  "Babe Ruth never let me forget it." Obama remembered.  (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)

Andrew McCarthy makes what even a anti-birther howler like Lord Charles ought recognize as a legitimate reason to get to the bottom of Obama's birth.

That misses the point. The information in the certification may be identical as far as it goes to what’s in the complete state records, but there are evidently many more details in the state records than are set forth in the certification. Contrary to the editors’ description, those who want to see the full state record — the certificate or the so-called “vault copy” — are not on a wild-goose chase for a “secondary document cloaked in darkness.” That confuses their motives (which vary) with what they’ve actually requested (which is entirely reasonable). Regardless of why people may want to see the vault copy, what’s been requested is a primary document that is materially more detailed than what Obama has thus far provided.

Now, let’s address motives for a moment. Are some of those demanding the full state records engaged in a futile quest to prove Obama is not a U.S. citizen? Are they on what the editors call “the hunt for a magic bullet that will make all the unpleasant complications of [Obama’s] election and presidency disappear”? Sure they are. But not everyone who wants to see the full state records falls into that category. I, for one, have very different reasons for being curious.

WHO IS THIS GUY?

Before January 20 of this year, Barack Obama had a negligible public record. He burst onto the national scene what seemed like five minutes before his election to the presidency: a first-term U.S. senator who actually served less than four years in that post — after a short time as a state legislator, some shadowy years as a “community organizer,” and scholastic terms at Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard that remain shrouded in mystery. The primary qualification supporters offered for Obama’s candidacy was his compelling life story, as packaged in 850 pages’ worth of the not one but two autobiographies this seemingly unaccomplished candidate had written by the age of 45.

Yet we now know that this life story is chock full of fiction. Typical and disturbing, to take just one example, is the entirely fabricated account in Dreams from My Father of Obama’s first job after college:

Eventually a consulting house to multinational corporations agreed to hire me as a research assistant. Like a spy behind enemy lines, I arrived every day at my mid-Manhattan office and sat at my computer terminal, checking the Reuters machine that blinked bright emerald messages from across the globe. As far as I could tell I was the only black man in the company, a source of shame for me but a source of considerable pride for the company’s secretarial pool. They treated me like a son, those black ladies; they told me how they expected me to run the company one day. . . . The company promoted me to the position of financial writer. I had my own office, my own secretary, money in the bank. Sometimes, coming out of an interview with Japanese financiers or German bond traders, I would catch my reflection in the elevator doors — see myself in a suit and tie, a briefcase in my hand — and for a split second I would imagine myself as a captain of industry, barking out orders, closing the deal, before I remembered who it was that I had told myself I wanted to be and felt pangs of guilt for my lack of resolve. . . .

As the website Sweetness & Light details, this is bunk. [continued]

of Obama?

It's 5AM here, and I've gone straight to the Kenyan BC cafe to see how the anti-birther bitchers are reacting - as though I couldn't write the script ad hoc.

With this list of breast beaters, using the John Stewart debate technique of ad hominem attack and ridicule, we have Daily Kos.   The Kossers came to Obama's rescue in the first instance, by finding the meaningless green "certification of live birth,"  and here attempt to pull the rabbit out of a hat once more.

Loopy wack-a-doodle Birther Queen Orly Taitz has the smoking gun! (Minus the smoke and the gun.)

Well, they're smoking something, anyway:

Included in the WorldNut Daily morongasm is a "photo" of the document, which purports to have been issued by the "Office of the Principal Registrar, Coast Province, Republic of Kenya" on February 17, 1964

Question: Was there a Republic of Kenya on February 17, 1964?

Wikipedia says no. Kenya became independent on December 12, 1963, and declared itself a Republic exactly one year later.

She'd better be a fucking great dentist, or the Taitzes aren't gonna eat this year.

Update: A more thorough debunking, for shits and giggles.

David Brock quickly issues the Media Matters imprimatur:
DailyKos' David Waldman has identified what appears to be an even more glaring problem with WND's latest smoking gun. The document posted by WND purports to have been produced by the "Republic of Kenya" on February 17, 1964. But Kenya didn't even become a republic until December 12, 1964. An article from that day's Washington Post, for example, reported that "Kenya became the newest republic within the British Commonwealth at midnight."
FAIL
Were I not a gentleman, I might accuse KOS of editing Wikipedia for their own evil purposes.  Because Googling "Dec. 12, 1963 kenya" returns  about 1,510,000 hits like this" (and isn't it amazing how Obammers can find dated and obscure newspaper articles to  make their case?) :
  1. 12 December 1963Kenya Achieves Independence

12 December 1963Kenya Achieves Independence. Wednesday December 12, 2007. Map showing position of Kenya in Africa Home to indigenous Bantu and ...

So far then, we have lawyer Taitz filing a  motion in U.S. District Court for its authentication, and a scholarly examination of the facts as are known here [Kenyan Birth Certificate - 1964 Divorce Timeline]  which concludes"
I can’t personally vouch for the veracity of the Kenyan birth certificate itself, not knowing how or from whom Orly obtained the birth certificate (the chain of evidence). It may have been obtained quite surreptitiously from the only filed Kenyan birth certificate record copy requested -- likely generated from the 1964 divorce.

It's QUITE possible that all other copies of this Kenyan birth certificate may have been scrubbed from Kenyan archives, but this one may have survived in a lone Vital Statistics office somewhere in Kenya not known about until now.

HOWEVER -- the dates DO "line up" for the Kenyan Birth Certificate to be REAL.

As style goes, compare Taitz's conduct with the "shits and giggles" approach taken by the KOS "bitchers."  Still to be resolved is Who is “E. F. Lavender?" A soap, a Kenyan registrar, or both? Stay tuned.
