Janet Reno is off the hook

The Grand Magi Has Spoken

ASSOCIATED PRESS A spokeswoman for Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. says sanctuary cities that refuse to enforce federal immigration laws will not face lawsuits like Arizona, which has passed a law on illegal immigrants.

The Obama administration said this week that there is no reason to sue so-called sanctuary cities for refusing to cooperate with federal authorities, whereas Arizona's new immigration law was singled out because it "actively interferes" with enforcement. STORY

There are no names provided.  Too bad.  If we knew who they were,  we could kill their family and friends here in the United States.  What?  That's what radical Islamists do, so I assume these turncoats pretty much sanction that behavior.Have disdain for us for our lack of commitment, wot?

My embedded reporters in Arizona sent this, more traditionally American, firearms discipline. Tom Smith sent the picture of his student, Zany Pickle.

DougM (?) made me think of this pic, that Alex sent from Iraq.  It was called "The Skybox".  If you look closely, you'll see the two piss tubes.  I laughed my ass off.

Alex is Casca's Marine Corps son, who is prolly by now a Light Colonel?  Or, at least a First Lieutenant.  Where is the towel rack and wash basin?

Monsters from the Id
When the old men do the fighting, and the young men all look on.
And the young girls eat their mothers' meat from tubes of plasticon.
Be wary, please, my gentle friends of all the skins you breed.
They have a nasty habit - they eat the hands that bleed.

Curtain Call - Caleb Weintraub

If Caleb Weintraub was ever to illustrate an essay, it would be Vanderleun's "Monsters from the Id: Good-bye to All That's Democrat."  Here's the opening stanza ...

The monsters from the id that now control the Democrat Party have transformed that party into a mob of undead extras from The Dawn of the Dead. It's an indecent and disgusting spectacle and I suspect there's more than a few million long-time Democrats who are revolted by it. That certainly seems to be creeping into the polls. No matter the good it once did, the Democrats today present as sick and crazed political party that is so greedy and hungry for power that it will do anything, including selling its country down the drain, to get it back.

Regardless of the race of the Democrats' selected nominee, Martin Luther King's dream of judging people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin has been transformed into a tawdry thing; a dried husk in which they wrap their skeletal remains, a hollow phrase spewed by the ascendent race hustlers of the party and lapped up by their acolytes.

Until 2004, with the exception of Guiliani's second term as mayor, I voted the Democrat ticket in every election since 1967. In 2004, offered the Insane Clown Posse of John Kerry and John Edwards, I voted for George Bush. The spectacle of the last four years of various Democrats reaching for the gold ring did not inspire me to change my view. Only the dead enjoy parties in a crypt. Not even Roman columns improve the Charnal house atmosphere that fumes through the party today. - continued

Chris Cillizza in the WaPost yesterday:
When White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told "Meet the Press" host David Gregory on Sunday that "there is no doubt there are enough seats in play that could cause Republicans to gain control", he was, to many people, stating the obvious.

After all, political prognosticators -- from Charlie Cook to Stu Rothenberg and every talking head in between -- have noted (with varying degrees of certainty) that the House majority is clearly at risk for Democrats this fall. ...

That's not to say, however, that Gibbs' words don't have an impact on things. They do. And here's a look at where (and how):

* Messaging: House Democrats were riding high from a messaging perspective over the last month thanks to impolitic comments by Reps. Joe Barton (apologized to BP) and John Boehner (the "ant" imbroglio) as well as Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele (Afghanistan as a war of President Barack Obama's "choosing").

Since the  Democrat Media Complex view this unfolding drama as a Greek tragedy, cue  the deus ex machina (played by Dan Aykroyd).

"Chris (representing the DMC), you ignorant phuck!"

That creaking noise is my larded ass now being lowered over this stage:

For two years voters have watched  Democrats employ thugs to protect them from their own angry constituents, or refuse to meet with them altogether.   Watched them create a debt load that's scant $billions away from exceeding our entire GNP!  They've watched Democrats seize national health care, in the dead of night, over strenuous objections.  They've lost their jobs even as the IRS  trebles its assault against them.   They've witnessed rank racism from the Administration in thought, word, and deed.  Nearly half of them question Obama's U.S. citizenship.  They are scared to death, and mad as hell!

That's real stuff.  Stuff that affects them personally.  And "Democrats were riding high from a messaging perspective?" Over esoteric "missteps" by mysterious people?  And what?  Democrats were oblivious to their plight before Gibbs shot his bolt?

What Aykroyd said.
