WTF

Oh My
Hoes in the Outfield

I've had two people e-mail that my site's been down for two days.  It would be useless to ask if you also ...  so let's do this.

Are you using IE?
... using Firefox?
... using Chrome?

Thanks

UPDATE - Need an Internet Explorer

  1. Firefox 24.0.

Haven't noticed your absence. (Which would just make us all fonder.)

  5. Working just fine

  6. Firefox 24 on Windows 7 Ultimate, no problem.

Is it turned on, is it plugged in, and did they pay the light bill??

  7. Thanks -Both of them use IE, but it must be something to go with their configs

  8. IE 7, page come up, nothing there except the top header with Michelle Jenneke. Click the archives and scroll down to todays stuff. Very annoying unless this all started with the 'handson T-shirt' pic, because that's when it zapped the site.

  10. iPad iOS 7.0.3. For the last few days your site is displaying using two thirds of the screen in landscape mode

  11. People actually use IE? I mean, yeah, I have it, but I use CoolNovo, Firefox, and TOR. This site comes up fine in all of them.

Amusing aside: went over to CoverUp Oregon, the hot-spit Obamacare site, and they said it wouldn't work unless you use IE. So I brought it up with IE, and guess what? That's right - even though they claim the site's built and tested for IE and won't work with Chrome or Firefox, it doesn't work with IE.

Works just fine with Chrome and Firefox, though.

  15. I had problems for two or three days....All I could see was all stretched out "hands on T shirt".
Went to Microsoft update list and added Silverlight.....Don't know if that was the problem but now "AOK".

  16. Oh Yeah! You're back. Couldn't find anything wrong with my system and brought in an expert. Everything is back to normal now. Thanks Rodge. BTW, I tried to hit the tip jar 2 weeks ago and paypal wouldn't process my Credit card. First time that has happened. It works everywhere else I use it.

  22. IE 7, I think. (I don't pay attention to these things.)

Blank screen, with VERY wide borders.

No, I'm not going to upgrade until the IE 8 bugs are all gone, nor am I going to use another browser, thank you very much.

I should point that it took me two years to move from VisiCalc to Lotus 123, another two to move from 123 to Quattro Pro, five years to move from Quattro Pro to Excel, and about 30 seconds to move from Excel to OpenOffice Calc. (I HATE Excel.)

  24. IE9 for me. For three days until this am all I saw was the post with a graphic of a young woman with two hands groping her from behind and text "In 2001 the outgoing Clintons trashed the White House before Bush 43's inauguration, ..."
It was zoomed about 1200% and it was the only thing on your page except the footer and header.

  30. "All I could see was all stretched out "hands on T shirt"."

Yep, I seemed to see a lot of that too. It just wouldn't go away. But I was on bourbon 5.0 so that might have made a difference.
