The GOPe wing of Free Republic requires that the Conservative wing of Free Republic swallow our distaste for their Democrat-Lite Karl Rove Approved (TM) candidates in order to win seats labeled (R) at the expense of conservative principle. Okay, let's put the shoe on the other foot: If Ted Cruz is winning 45% of the Republican vote in early primaries, will you require your Karl Rove Approved (TM) candidate withdraw and unreservedly throw your support behind the winning candidate Ted Cruz? Slightly differently stated, are you primarily interested in beating Democrats or Conservatism?

                Well done Uncle Miltie

Holy Cow, Barry! Did you watch the video that accompanies this article? It's better than ipecac!

In the event that you need to induce reverse peristalsis, and you don't have an emetic handy, just watch the video.

The "Associate Dir. of Alumni Affairs" for Goddard College (a white guy with dreadlocks) will really turn your stomach, but the others are equally disgusting. The woman, Johanna Fernandez (a history professor!!) is in thrall to "Mumia", and says (among her other outrageous statements):

"The police have demonized Mumia over and over, but his voice is filled with love...rational, powerful, and dangerous to the status quo."  [full]

“Three gardens growing.”
“Two chickens clucking.”
“And a big piece of tofu for me.”

Those are some of the lines from a third grade class’s rewrite of “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” according to a blog the USDA.

The agency, which oversees school lunches and is implementing changes championed by First Lady Michelle Obama, is highlighting the efforts of Academy for Global Citizenship in Chicago.

Along with the USDA, Katherine Elmer-Dewitt from the school writes:

Daddy, do the United States Dept. of Agriculture have a Swat Team too?

UPDATE: After the outcry, the Forest Service backs off.

Nice photo. That'll be $1,000, please.

This week's most profoundly wrongheaded display of nonviolent press infringement comes from an unlikely source: The U.S. Forest Service. New rules being finalized in November state that—across this country's gloriously beautiful, endlessly photogenic, 36 million acres of designated wilderness area administered by the USFS—members of the press who happen upon it will need permits to photograph or shoot video. What I see here is, that under Obama, every government dept. is acting like it's a regulatory commission able to make shit up.  The key question today is:  Does the U.S. Forest Service have a Swat Team?

Jindal's evolution

Whacking Democrat Media Monkeys

I don't know that he so much schools the smarmy pissant,  as adeptly stop him from framing  the question.  Which makes me ask myself this question.

"What other candidate for president has a better record than Jindal's, as governor of LA., or have by their actions, and political philosophies, been a better model for being the next best president since Ronald Reagan?  Aside from Sarah Palin, who evidently is a non starter?
