Salt of the Earth
. People are
always asking. "Say, Rodge ..
I need something
incredible to impress my girlfriend. She's put off because my silver is
aways tarnished, and bacteria abound. She refuses to eat w/me
anything other than delivery food. Can you help me? I don't want
to be going out and buying $500 worth of cleaning supplies either.
diatomaceous earth. it's the universal solution to nearly every problem, from tarnish to bedbugs, roaches, ants. Takes the smell out of the cat litter box and the fridge. Plus you can eat it, so add a little to bags of dried beans and rice to keep away mold.
I swear, the stuff is even more useful than Bayer's Dryone, the greatest bug killing poison ever. I'd say DE is right up there with sodium percarbonate and oxalic acid, the two best cleaners a homeowner could ask for, available for pennies as plain chemicals, but expensive when given a famous label (oxi-clean, bar keeper's friend, egc).
Why just this morning I was explaining to one of the landscapers that boric acid has a lower LD50 than table salt.
ReplyDeleteIOW, it kills everything in the house but us. DEAD. It's a miracle product.
