It won't matter if you don't understand a word spoken in this tale of woe by a high talker and his wife. We've all been there (and I love it). |
scream-of-consciousness; "If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

I winced a bit the first time I saw this video, 'cause it was prefaced with a tale of losing both testicles (to cancer I think). Talk about losing your talk-show host job! Ugh. Ain't been there, don't wanna! Err... the losing the testicles thing, not the job, who cares about a job.. ya know?... I mean, you can get other jobs, but you only have two, well you know, uh, well, shit. If I ever lose either one, I mean of the three, I won't be on a talk show telling you about it. Shit, you know what I mean, don't I? Dang, that don't make a lick of sense.

Sorry, I think maybe you missed the point. It's not that the host was necessarily uncaring, he just fell into that "zone." The harder you try to stop, the worse it gets.

Three testicles?
George Washington had four. Really. I bet you never learned that in school. - 3/2/07, 10:00 PM

My comment was in total sarcasm/jest. I can't imagine trying to keep a straight face when hearing this guys voice! It was so unexpected it sounds comical. Once you lose it, it only goes down hill from there. Hell, I'd practically smack myself in the nuts to try to keep from laughing at this poor bastard.... but it wouldn't help.

Heh! choosing between losing one or two testicles.... and/or the Talk-host Job makes three "Loss" possibilities...

Not trying to hijack what is a thread about the future of the world, but an acronym for "A dog's best friend is his illiteracy" is this:
Brashiest of giddiness. Alert icily
Gonna give the "Brashiest of 2007" award to Rodg. Giddiness is mine.
You've been alerted. - 3/3/07, 12:00 AM

Alear, it's not an acronym, but an anagram...not to be snarky. I'm on a snarky kick, so I have to kick in the gratuitous apology. Sorry.
Seriously though, I want some stats on the trivia quiz that I posted on an earlier comment thread. I only got 62%, and I'm feeling deficient. I think the musicology BS put me at a disadvantage, since I knew most of the other stuff.

Speaking of "high talkers"... Rodger, did you see the video of Ann Coulter referring to John The Silky Pony Edwards as a "faggot?"
Well, have ye a look:

Best watched after seeing the famous Edwards 20-minute hair-brushing video.
