A stamp of approval from Snowe could also clear the way for
other Republicans, such as Senators Susan Collins of Maine and
George Voinovich of Ohio, to back the effort. Collins joined
with Snowe to support Obama’s economic-stimulus package in
February, and Voinovich has been pegged as a possible Republican
vote for a health-care overhaul by lawmakers including his
fellow Ohio senator, Democrat Sherrod Brown.
Collins, 56, said she would be “very interested” in
Snowe’s decision, though she said it wouldn’t determine her vote
as she goes through her own evaluation. (Bloomberg)

I don't really expect a result or even a response, but I wrote Mitch McConnell today and asked him to expel Collins from the Senate Republican caucuses. Told him she could sit on a back bench with Specter, the other opportunist turncoat, and they could swap lies.

Tramp stamp of approval is more like it.

"Guess we're gonna have to stuff it full of that mule manure.....That'll round it out".
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Arlen Specter. Traitor, turncoat and all-around despicable douch nozzle.
ReplyDeleteAirdale: It ain't Specter's first time on that rodeo ... he was originally a democrat.
ReplyDeleteThe Dems called him Specter the Defector back in the Sixties.
OH, and it wasn't History talking to Snowe ....
I am a Montanan, not born there but raised there from age 4, and I completely agree with the Old Trooper about Baucus. He has been living off the government dole for at least 30 or more years. Trooper, I will donate to the purchase of the rope.
