Harry Reid's Americans

Democrats reject stop-gap spending bill—  government shutdown unavoidable?
From my vantage point, if Reid doesn't budge (i.e. Republicans cave), he just bukakied himself. It'll be pretty damned hard for the Democrat media to spin "Republicans wanted spending bill, Democrats didn't" into something Obama palatable. Especially given the depth of democrat constituencies ability to understand anything more complex than "It's Free"

    I dont know, the media did it last time. R's wanted a budget that cut, D's wanted one to spend, but they didnt even propose one.

    real reason for durty harry's cut and run was he didn't want to miss the posh donk "fall retreat" this weekend at kiawah island, sc. "a man's got to know his limitations."
