it right now. Why is that so difficult for Netanyahu and his American
Jewish allies to understand?

The last time Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu
shared each other’s company, you could say that the encounter did not
go well—if by “not well” you mean abysmally. This was on May 20, the
day after Obama gave his big speech on the Arab Spring, in which he
unleashed a tsunami of tsuris by endorsing the use of Israel’s 1967
borders “with mutually agreed [land] swaps” as the basis for a
two-state solution with the Palestinians. Obama and Netanyahu were
seated in the Oval Office for what was supposed to be one of those
photo ops devoted to roasting rhetorical chestnuts about the solidity
of the U.S.-Israel alliance. Instead, while Obama watched silently,
looking poleaxed, Netanyahu lectured him—for seven and a half minutes,
on live television—about the folly, the sheer absurdity, of suggesting
Israel ever return to what he called the “indefensible” 1967 lines.

friend" just did. I mean wtf, Jews are not inner city

be manipulated like Play-Doh by phony minister overseers to vote 95% D. What? Well yeah, but you
know what I mean. This Drudge story is accurate, and everyone
knows it.
Iran
boasts USA (Obama) has
abandoned Israel...
WTF is going on? Obama announcing for Gay marriage, like there's
a
popular groundswell supporting it? Eric Holder prosecuting
Sheriff Joe
for cracking down on illegal Mexican aliens? Oh yeah, that's what
America wants to hear. Can anyone be this stupid, or is there
something we don't know? Something I can't even imagine? If not,
Obama and
the Democrats are looking very much like burnt toast.

I lived in Chicago. I was a farmboy, but had seen a bit of the world by the time I reached Chicago. Blacks were different there, more polished, pseudo-educated, and abso-fucking-lutely stupid. When they got their hands on city government, they ran it just like they're running the federal government now. It was a looting holiday. For five years, the council couldn't pass a parking contract because the Aldermen kept getting stung by the FBI.

ReplyDeleteThe left has a big problem. They know they can't tell the truth because they'll all get lynched if they do. So they lie. They lie about this so they have to lie about that, and that and this other thing. Then, just to be safe, they lie about everything, large and small, because they know that the truth is dangerous to them. Then they started to believe their own lies and that was the moment they became insane.

My take? Obama knows things as they stand now means defeat but for two wild cards...and one isn't so wild.
ReplyDeleteFirst, there is the big pool of people who just don't pay all that much attention to politics. Yeah, things are tough economically, but they watch the evening news and are told Obama is a moderate, Israel's friend, it's Bush's fault, the recovery is underway AND NOW, SPORTS. Throw in "Repubs hate women, gays, Latino's and blacks" and you've pretty much got a good shot at those folks.
Second, it's my firm conviction that come October, Joe Biden will pull a Bill Casey and be rushed to the the hospital for "emergency brain surgery" and, doggone it, while Obama would just LOVE to stick by Biden, he has to put the country first and (ready?) calls on his good friend HILLARY CLINTON to step in as VEEP.
He ain't goin' quietly into that good, good night.

ReplyDeleteAnon, Komrade Doofus is a put-up job. There is no there there. Empty suit, so what does he do when the going gets tough? He'll be shooting messengers all Summer, then blaming his base for not turning out.
Take it to the bank, this one is over before September. Nobody will be listening come October.
