“It looks like whoever picked this data chose the
demographic where Limbaugh was weakest,” one radio insider noted. [Left-Wing
Politico Busted Fudging Limbaugh Ratings]

right-wing talk dying?" John Avlon asked hopefully at The Daily Beast.
I
was unaware until a few days ago that Politico's Ben Smith is now with Buzz Feed.
Politico was launched in January 2007, billed as being comprised
of
veteran newsmen of various ideological persuasion, but with a need to
provide
good, solid, and unbiased reporting. And there was. And
there still is. Because it 'tweren't. Politico.
Ben Smith, an original
Politico "talent," was quoted liberally by Rush
Limbaugh, who liked his slant and insight. Slowly, however,
liberalism began seeping out of Smith's glands, and then le déluge merde. Here's one
of my Favorite Ben Smith road apples. If you hadn't noticed who
he was by then, this was the kick in your arse.
What a schmuck. Smith, along with everyone else at Politico, were
little more than fifth columnists (get it?) parachuted in to ply their
legerdemain by stealth. Here's a recent commentary on that carbuncle:
Ben Smith and the Evidence by Stanley Kurtz
I've picked on Ben Smith, because he was caught in our camp, wearing
our uniform, and trying to blow up our infrastructure. .
