I cook corn in  the microwave all the time,  but I  never knew this trick.  Sadly,  by corn eating time  next year I'll have forgotten this, so I'll just program it post to pop back up on July 4, 2012.  It's like magic.Originally posted here.

    We've used this method at least a half dozen times. Great fun. As for the Independence Day cobs? Top shelf of smoker above the ribs. mmmm good
