scream-of-consciousness;
"If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."
Its probably no secret here that I drive a classic jeep, which means no air bags. What I do have, thanks to old school GM, is the security of an all steel outer shell surrounding a roll cage. Coupled with the seatbelt, I feel pretty safe, even braving the free-for-for-all that is the DC beltway.
That being said, every time I cross that bridge into MD I wish I had up-armored the the thing when venturing into O'Malley's utopian gun free paradise.
And drive like you're ridin' a motorcycle. I do when drivin' my ol' TR-6 (which has seatbelts), cause the car's body is really only useful for makin' the paint fly in formation.
I came this (...) close to buying a TR250 but at the time was too "big" to fit behind the wheel like I used to do in my old TR4A. All of those old TR's are wonderful to look at and fun to drive. That was a cute quip by the way. I may have to steal that.
