"On Sunday, Governor Pat Quinn signed Illinois
House Bill 1189, a law that will, among other things, impose
requirements–on pain of criminal charges–on victims of crime.
If your gun is stolen, and you fail to promptly notify the police, you
are now the criminal.
Oh, by the way–confused by the initial
description on the Illinois General Assembly website–that the bill
“amends the Sex Offender Registration Act”? That’s what the bill would
have done, before being amended to reflect Chicago-area Democrats’
view that gun owning crime victims pose a greater danger to the public
than sex offenders do. (source)"
Buy your guns from the same place the Black guys do. Problem solved. There's a bonus too. When you have to shoot somebody dead you can just drop the gun and walk away with none being the wiser. By the way I'm looking for a crappy .38 revolver.
ReplyDeleteIt's the "Land of Lincoln" what don't you get? Nothing has ever changed. Abe liked it that way. And I don't mean in the keester.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how long it will be until somebody challenges it because a "disproportionate" amount of minorities are being arrested for failing to report a gun being stolen from them.
ReplyDeleteThis is called "unintended consequences". Heh.
A silly hypothesis I think. You have to be a registered gun owner to fall under the law's rule.
