Bullshit Media Polls

From Queen to Bag Lady?

"There's not been a single primary this year where there's been a big increase in their motivation, Add all that together and what you say is, we're in a very challenging environment, but I believe that if the election were run today, we would not lose the House or the Senate. That's not a line, that's the honest truth."  - Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman

But, but ... for that to be remotely true would mean .. would mean that the television guys were projecting Upper West Side cocktail party banter as news, in contravention of facts.  Could that happen?  Yesterday Limbo presented further harbingers of a Donk replay of 2002 ( promoted by the media as where Democrats took back congress)  - the pre-excuse party.

Here it's in Salon.com. It's quite lengthy and I'm not going to go through the whole thing, but the basic premise here is that there was Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004. "Here are the six states where vote suppression could cost voters their voice and Democrats the election in 2006." Now, this is interesting because up 'til now, all we've heard about is the Democrats are going to take back the House. It's a done deal, it's a fait accompli, and they're going to take the Senate, too, and then the White House in '08. Now, all of a sudden Begala and Carville are writing about, well, you know, the Republicans starting the swift boat people, the attacks are going to start, we're going to keep up with them blow by blow. (You might call that the intern vote) and now Salon is out there saying, six states out there, ladies and gentlemen (Laughing.)

In the past, Democrat control of government only meant huge increases in social engineering programs, and a corresponding decrease in defense spending.  Since 9-11, the difference is whether you and your kids live or die.  Simple as that.  I'm betting on Life.

I suspect the Donks will continue to lose until they realise that people like the Swifties and other veterans of the Southeast Asian War Games did not come out against that scumbag Kerry because we were ordered to by the Republicans.
If it were anyone but the Donks running against us I would sit home this November, I am so mad at the RINOs that seem to have taken over since '94.

My B-52 bombardier has instructions not to worry about collateral Republican damage when selecting enemy targets on Capitol Hill.

Historically, Democrat candidates have to be far ahead of the Republican candidates in the summer polls by in order to win.

Once the Republican commercials start in September to counteract the left-wing media, Democrat candidates always drop significantly in the polls.

You can't get any indication who will win until October 15.

Absolutely. You can go back to the 1976 presidential election, and moving forward see that pre-election media hype always pads the democrat position by 10+ points . Personally, I think this practice ought to be criminalized as subverting elections.
