Did you know that at the start of WWII, France invaded Germany?

Truth. When Germany invaded Poland in September, 1939, France sent a few platoons across the border, then pulled them back before the local German cops could bicycle up and arrest them. The French considered this as fulfilling their treaty obligations to the Poles.

The Poles were unavailable for comment.
