Governor's health plan could put many in a bind

Coverage could be expensive for 1 million middle-class workers.
I've taken the liberty of fleshing out some of the details in this LA Times article, based on personal experience.

SACRAMENTO — Shannon Corona had stomach surgery in 2004, but she has not been back to her specialist for a checkup in two years.

Her employer, a landscape architectural firm where she is a drafter, doesn't offer health insurance.  Payments and car  insurance for her Saturn Sky convertible
          Great Girl Car
eat up nearly $800 of her monthly income.  Then there's food and clothing.  Shannon is a habitué' of Sacramento's trendy restaurants where she takes most of her meals, and likes nice clothing to wear on her nightly tour of the club scene. She cannot afford to pay for health insurance.

Corona is the kind of Californian who Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says would be helped by his proposed overhaul of the state's healthcare system.

Okay, continue.

That entire article is excrement. We are daily bombarded on radio ads with various dot.coms to visit to show support for this ridiculous plan. And it's ALWAYS regarding coverage to include the illegal population in this state. See reason #956 why we're getting the heck out this once beautiful, wonderful, state to live in? Every city a UC campus is built in, becomes a bastion for liberal commie think. And it spreads like and STD.

For an aircraft to fly, lift must counter drag. America is an aircraft, we are lift, she is drag.
