Sayet v. Hillary

Sayet, you magnificent bastard! I read your book!

I'll prolly be posting a lot of mini-clips from Evan Sayet's "How Liberals Think," because it is just so instructive. I recall the scene from the movie when Patton, after defeating Edwin Rommel's Afrika Corps yelled, "Rommel, you magnificent bastard! I read your book! " Same thing.

This clip is from the Q&A session following. Alan Nichols, a writer for The Washington Diplomat posits that if Hillary Clinton was in attendance, she'd say "I too am looking for the good. You say Liberals don't work for the good." Listen.

It's the anarchists. (No, not the antichrists -- the anarchists.)

Back during the sixties, the hippies, the flower-children, the Abbie Hoffmans didn't have the $$$ needed to bring about their so-called "utopia of social justice".

Now, forty years later, their children and grandchildren have the money to support an anarchist attack against the United States.

Where did they get the cash? It's not from selling bongs and incense.

There is another video of him on his website, but it has really (really) annoying background muzak. If I were motivated, I'd try to capture the stream and strip that shit out. It makes it unwatchable, imo...

I say it's the counterculture. They're not anarchists, because they don't want to eliminate government entirely, but make a government to suit them.

You'll see some anarchists at their protests. That's just because some of the "young, dumb, and full of hate" types at the rallies are into the anarchy thing, and the protest leaders know that eventually anarchists evolve into leftists. They always do.

The counterculture is defined by its opposition to the prevailing culture. It's like how satanists wouldn't exist without bible-based religion to be in opposition to. Satan has no independent history; he's only mentioned in the bible.

Likewise, whatever our sensible, rational culture chooses to be, the counterculture will choose to be the opposite. This makes it easy to make the counterculture wrong; we need to merely be right.

However, lies can be very alluring. As the old saying goes: "A lie can run around the world before the truth has got its boots on." The news media is right there to help out with biased reporting that seeks to be provocative and controversial over being accurate and honest.

I'd like to say that we can be patient, that their lies will be revealed, just as the lies of Roe v. Wade, "free love", and Vietnam war protestors were eventually revealed.

Unfortunately, in each case, the damage was done before the lies were revealed. Jane Roe wasn't raped; she was irresponsible. Still, tens of thousands of babies are aborted every week in the US. "Free love" led to AIDS. Vietnam was winnable, and the right thing to do.

We can't wait. We have to get the truth out there as soon as possible, and as much as possible. Being a "silent majority" is defeatist. Complacency is failure.

James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause:

When asked, "What are you rebelling against?" he replies,

"Whatcha got?"

One, or more, may well ask, "If Modern Liberals are opposed to everything that is good, right and sucessful, how come so many of them are sucessful?" We here at C&S know the answer to this one, of course. It is because every Godd**n one of them is a f***ing hypocrite.

And the prize for "best answer" goes to GrinfilledCelt.

Case in point -- that smug prick, Johnny Depp. He has made millions and lives a lifestyle or luxury unimaginable to the royalty of Europe, yet he likens the very country which made it all possible "a retarded puppy". 'Tis but one of thousands of examples. And then there's the music industry (I'm lookin' at you, Dixie Twits...)

Funny how all these "creative types" forget that the only reason they can earn a living pushing keys on a typewriter or preening in front of a camera is becase, thousand of miles away, burly men are willing to do violence on their behalf and potentially die in the name of freedom.

Ungrateful bastards.
