Par-Tay with Jack-Kay

Jack Kevorkian Running for Congress
"LET ME HELP
Kevorkian for Congress
"

Assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian has announced he will launch a run for the United States Congress. “Dr. Death” plans to run as an independent in the Michigan’s 9th Congressional district and promised to only remain in office for one term, noting his 79-year-old age. Kevorkian, who spent over eight years in prison for a second degree murder conviction, hopes to fight for individual rights by increasing awareness of the Ninth Amendment to the U.S. Bill of Rights. Not much of a politics fan, Kevorkian admitted he has only voted once. [Reading of the Will]

Uh, doesn't being a felon disqualify you from holding office?

Just by coincidence this topic (euthanasia)came up this weekend as I looked at our 15yr old cat, Prissy. She doesn't groom herself, hunt, or climb like she used to with her current creaky self. Wondering, when or if, is the right time to put her down, I asked myself a question: Why is it okay for us to put down our animals but not people suffering lingering, painful deaths? The answer came within an instant to my mind: Because God gave man dominion over all the earth and animals and every creeping thing upon it; BUT not over people. That is His department. Not liberals will ever consider a greater power than themselves.

BTW,Can one be a known felon and still run for Senate? I mean, apart all the ones that became felons while in office and continue to be relected by morons. jk

Being a felon is not a bar to serving in Congress, but rather a prerequisite.

Now, now, Steve, don't be flip. Juice, the answer to your question is. Only if you're a democrat.
