But the devout Catholic — who has tried in vitro — told Us,
"It was all in God's plan."

Saw a bio of Jenna on the telly awhile back. Um...she's devout alright, but to Catholicism? OH, that's right! Devout parishioner of Michael Pfleger's. That's the ticket.

Nancy Pelosi may claim to be a practicing Catholic but her pro-abortion stance interdicts her from receiving any sacraments and effectively leaves her standing outside the confines of the Church in every respect. As you may have read today, Senator Joe Biden (aka Rosary Joe) has also been strongly admonished by the Archbishop of Washington, D.C. for HIS pro-abortion beliefs and basically told that he'd best not be coming to the communion rail anytime soon.

I might add that John Kerry and Ted Kennedy also claim to be good Catholics but neither of them qualifies for a host of reasons.

However, all that being said, it really isn't for me (or anyone else) to judge any of them. It is ultimately between them and the Judge who cannot be bought off with earmarks!

I disagree, GM. It is for us to judge them -- as long as we can stand to be judged. I am no saint, but I stand ready to be judged.

And Pelosi described herself as an ardent practicing Catholic.

Pelosi needs to practise a lot harder for this catholic to accept her.

Gayle, I wholeheartedly agree with you! It is not for us to judge. However, being humans, we do this and need to show restraint.
