Obama's Guns

Yeah, Right ...

Just getting around to this, but it's still relevant. The post election spike in gun sales prompted The Him  to reassure gun owners, by denying any intention of "taking away folks' guns."
"I believe in commonsense gun safety law, and I believe in the second amendment," [Dec. 7th, 2008]
The problem is that Obama is a stone liar.  To this day nobody can point to a single statement, or promise, that he made during his campaign, that was  not a contradiction of a previous statement, or of his own record, such as it still exists. Take a quick look at his prior pronouncements, and actions, as they regard guns - like his endorsement of a a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition -  and be very afraid of this very evil man -- who was imposed on us, quite illegally.   I sort of wish Eleanor Holmes Norton was on to something, with her irrational fear of guns at the inaugural, but she isn't.  She's just stupid.

As much as I would like to be among the 10s of thousands of sheeple celebrating the anointing of the Messiah, more pressing needs, like work and range time take precedent.

On a somewhat related note, the local school board was asked to pony up money to send a high school band to DC for the inauguration. The band was solidly turned down. We don't much like Obammy Whammy here...

"Common sense gun law' is a term that makes my blood boil. People that dont break laws dont need anymore. Criminals dont follow the ones we have and wont follow new ones either. And if you REALLY want to twist a liberals knickers, swap gun and abortion points. Mention 'common sense abortion law' and their heads will explode like the movie 'Mars Attacks'.

When they say "common sense gun laws" ask 'em which of the 20,000+ laws they want to get rid of...
