Liberal Whines

Doo-Dah
doo doo

I almost can't stand more of this racist whining from the most racist group of dew-berries on God's earth.  Time for some foot stompin' music.

Whaddaya expect? Obama is the product of hippies, brought to power by self-absorbed baby boomers, Gen X and Gen Y.

I think Branford Marsalis sums it up nicely:

Those are the Azalea Trail girls from Mobile, Alabama. They were formed in the latter '40s and were inspired by the azaleas that lined many of Mobile's streets back then. It's currently formed of 50 high school senior girls of all races from across the city.

Alabama's problem is that a lot of the blacks, especially in central Alabama, are caught in the mid-60s, civil rights era time warp. The March from Selma and the Rosa Parks bus boycott were their only claim to fame. They thus tend to view everything -- and I mean everything -- through that lens. As a result, everything is racist!!!

They're a real drag on progress. You'd think George Wallace was still standing in the door of the University of Alabama.

I simply wish to frak they'd grow up and move on. It's the 21st Century! We've got more important stuff to do than dwell in the idiocy of the past!

Remember when "The Color Purple" was released? The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People boycotted the movie because Danny "Red is a Good Color" Glover's character was considered a negative stereotype and then complained when the picture did not win any awards.

Be grateful you don't work in the District. I do and the nightmare has increased on an almost hour-by-hour basis. He loves motorcades down Pennsylvania Avenue during rush hour. Adores screwing up Sunday mornings with "rehearsal inaugurations" - the line of 5,000 porto-potties (bring your own t.p. is the recommendation) on the National Mall is - to me - highly offensive!
