David Frum on Palin

Frumtard
Nice run Davy.  You finished last.

David Frum, a member in good standing of the Colin Powell wing of the Democrat Party, appeared on GMA this morning, slamming Sarah Palin as a divisive force.  He collapsed and was treated for an overdose of  irony-sulphide.
SMITH: Yeah, well, she had plenty to say to the media yesterday and gave sort of gave the media a tongue lashing. David Frum, is Sarah Palin the future of the Republican Party?

DAVID FRUM: She's a future of the Republican Party. She's a divisive force within the Republican Party. Ann is right to say that she's been asked to speak in many Republican affairs. But note that one of her first invitations was for an internal Republican battle, Texas Governor Rick Perry asked her to come speak against Kay Bailey Hutchison. So her divisiveness is not just divisive within the country, it’s divisive within the party. And many fear, as I do, that while she's very popular with some Republicans, that she represents a future that leads the party both to political defeat and then to ineffectiveness in government.

And we want lessons from Democrats on how to be successful Republicans exactly why?

Frum is worried about Sarah leading the party to political defeat and to ineffective government.

No one needs to lead the Republican Party there, David.

Look around, amigo, don't you think we are already there?

These aren't exactly the salad days of the Republican Party, David.

Keep looking to Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham (who, I understand, wishes to seek sexual reassignment surgery under Obama's health care plan and who won't have too far to go if that's the case) and some of the other dynamic voices of the Republican Party.

I think that half of them are DNC plants.

Sarah will rock the Democrats back on their feet/butts, while the more tepid types like Frum wring their hands.

Casca,

It's not as much of a no-brainer as you think. Mr. Goodhair has a few ideas that I don't care for.

1. Forced vaccination of female school children for HPV.

2. Signed "hate crimes" bill into law.

3. Not strong enough on illegal entry into this country.

That's just off the top of my head. I'll probably still vote for him, but he's not perfect by far.

Molon, Kinda gotta disagree on McConnell. He's doing a decent job given the weenies has available. His maneuvering has stopped some [some] bad stuff.
Yeah, I wish he was a little stronger in the backbone area, but who do you want as minority leader? Gramnesty has bent over the barrel for some sort of D payback. Wonder if someone has sleazy pictures...
IMO, they should all vote no on Sotomayor because she is lying under oath. Darn near every question on her 'history' was a 'mistake, a joke gone bad, or a misunderstanding', take your pick. Nothing was as advertised...
Horse pellets.
