Changing rules even in death

STFU

When I heard last week that Ted Kennedy wanted to change Massachusetts succession law, so Gov. Duval Patrick (it's easy to confuse him with Eric Holder) could immediately appoint his successor, I thought what I always think when the late Ted opens his yap.  YPOSMFCS!  And that was before I learned this.
Until 2004, a vacancy would have been filled by gubernatorial appointment. But legislative Democrats changed the rules that year, fearful that a presidential victory by US Senator John F. Kerry would give Republican Governor Mitt Romney the right to appoint a GOP successor.

They passed legislation creating the current system, which would leave Massachusetts with only one vote in the Senate for up to six months. (WaPost)

The story gets better. The Swimmer started the ball rolling to stop Mitt from appointing Howie Carr as Sen. but the actual dirty work was done by Tommy "Taxes" Finneran. Former speaker of the house, now convicted felon. There is another operative, currently indicted in a Federal corruption investagation. I believe he is DiMassi but can't keep track of all the scum on Beacon Hill. Masshole2shits, Obama's blueprint for Amerikastan.

Not many jackasses can screw up a country even after they're dead. I'll give him credit for that.

(What? Well, I'm assuming dead Chicago voters don't do it on purpose.)

Why? Is Holder blind too?
Oh wait a minute, that's the NY governor. They all look alike.

If memory serves, neither Holder nor Patrick could get Senate confirmation after Clinton nominated them to Justice, and were recess appointments. Easy enough to look up, I just don't feel like it. Holder is a ratbastard commie mf'r of the first rank, and so is Patrick. If you met either of them in 1951 Korea, you'da got a medal for popping them. Now you'd get arrested.
