Saw a cloud like that late last month. Moments later I ended up with hail, heavy rain (3.5 inches in under 1 hour), and a funnel cloud passing over my apartment.

Still cleaning up the damage.

This looks a lot like a sand storm I was caught in outside of Andrews, Texas about 30 years ago. And the landscape looks like the areas south of Andrews, also.

Looking at the picture, that has to be some kind of magnetic flux at work - ergo:

Hans "Harry" Ørsted was a Dane who liked Havarti (a cheese Danish) and messed around with electric currents producing magnetic fields. Today is Harry's birthday and I am helping him celebrate it (you may have guessed)...........
