The Gang Who Can't Shoot Straight

FUBAR
How F'd-up is our government?  This F'd-up.

That's right.  ACORN is a criminal enterprise, so you'd think it would be a simple matter to quit giving them taxpayer money, wouldn't you?  Here's how I'd do it.
Memo
To:  U.S. Treasury
Subject:  Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now

Don't print any more checks payable to ACORN, or any of its  62,000 shell organizations (list attached).
But, oh no.
Congress is rushing to defund the controversial group ACORN, but its efforts might have unintended consequences: Some argue that one version of the effort violates the Constitution, while a growing chorus says a second measure is so broad that it could block major contractors such as the Boeing Co. from getting government jobs.

There are so many bulls*t objections that you'd almost think some in congress were trying to sabotage the effort. Wouldn't you?

But Wait!  There's More.
Is there anybody left in America, aside from public school students, their teachers, and the idiot cashier at Giant,  who doesn't know man-caused global warming was created as a means to redistribute wealth?  Who are not aware, at some level, that thanks entirely to government malfeasance, misfeasance, and raw stupidity, that the United States has no more wealth to distribute?  Then why this? Now?

What's that word I'm looking for?  Oh, right. Tie cinder blocks around the necks of every member of Congress, and staff, then push them off the 14th Street bridge. I'm not kidding. It's self defense.

Yeah, I believe you know my Giant cashier. Although I don't think she works both in MD and NoVA.

Isn't the Potomac River polluted enough without doing that? If what you suggested is done you would have the EPA, Homeland Security, and OSHA all investigating everyone involved.
