It's Like Magic

Real Urban Renewal
A gust of wind! A puff of smoke! Where ACORN?

That's Urban Renewal

 Tom Mann sent me the top picture of ACORN's DC offices on Friday, the roll-over today.  I bet the orders came from 1600 Pennsylvania  Ave. By the way, The senate yesterday voted to strip funding from ACORN. Despite the damning video evidence mounting against ACORN, the ACORN Senate vote was not unanimous ( 83 - 7, with 9 Senators not voting). Source
Seven who thought it would be just fine
to allow ACORN to run their scam.

Nine Senators didn't vote on
Senate Amendment 2355 to HR 3288?

  1. Burris (D) from Illinois;
  2. Casey (D) from Pennsylvania;
  3. Durbin (D) from Illinois;
  4. Gillibrand (D) from New York;
  5. Leahy (D) from Vermont;
  6. Sanders (I) from Vermont; and
  7. Whitehouse (D) from Rhode Island.
Burr (R) from North Carolina;
Graham (R) from South Carolina;
McCain (R) from Arizona;
Coburn (R) from Oklahoma;? (musta been sick)
Gregg (R) from New Hampshire;
Vitter (R) from Louisiana;
Hutchison (R) from Texas

PUNKS

The two Democratic Senators not casting a vote were:

Byrd (D) from West Virginia; and
Mikulski (D) from Maryland.

Kennedy is an Illinois voter now. He'll be voting for Burris.

KB Hutchison ((R) TX)is planning to resign her seat so she can run for Governor. She was back here in Texas running her campaign. I don't think she's got a snowball's chance of beating Rick Perry but she did have a semi-legit reason for not being there to vote.

McCain and Graham were in Charleston holding a town hall on health care so I suppose we could excuse them this time.

ACORN defunded by Senat vote.

So what. They'll just change their name, make up a new logo, and open up in another storefront down the street. Apply for funds, take funds and create more sheist for the rest of us, and keep on keepin' on.
They are made up of letterhead and cheap signs. T-shirts, too, I guess, but they have absolutely no assets to seize nor transport.

ACORN is a ghost company(?) created to get government funding to destroy the government. Sell you the rope to hang them with? Ha, they BUY the rope for you!

Frack, I am tired of this crap being acceptable in this US of A.

See, this is what's wrong with this country. Since when is skipping out on the job you were hired to do so you can go apply for a different job considered to be an excusable absence? I know I'd get fired for it even if I did it after giving two-weeks notice.

KB Hutchison gonna loooooz, big time. Perry is a good man -- even Democrat voters like him -- because he's kept Texas's finances sound.

Well, of course, the TX legislature only convenes every other year for a couple of months, which gives them little time to raid our wallets.
