Politico=typical politico

The Politico Is Pretty Much Just Making Stuff Up Now

It's about Sarah Palin, so that makes it cool I guess.

Consider this headline: "Iowa Republicans wince at Sarah Palin's $100K speaking fee"

 The Politico story starts...

She'll have the last laugh on Jan 20, 2013 when she's sworn in!

But it's ok for Al Gore to get the same $100,000 plus travel expenses to lie to you for an hour.

and:

According to the Washington Post, Bill Clinton earned $31 million in speaking fees between 2001 and 2005, as disclosed in his wife's Senate ethics reports. The chart above (click to enlarge) lists the amount Bill Clinton earned for 43 speeches he gave in 2005. http://mjperry.blogspot.com/2007/11/excessive-pay.html

I believe Limbaugh also commands $100,000.

True, but y'all got to the part where Sarah never stipulated a fee?

Yeah, I did Rodger, but they'll just toss out that fake but accurate crap like they did with Rathergate.

AWM Limbaugh does not charge a fee - does any speeches gratis. He hates to do them and therefore does very few. He does not "script" them in advance - just speaks from the heart. This is the true speaker - anybody can read a prompter but, it takes a true intellect to speak extemporaneously.

Rog: yes, I did get the "fake but negative so we'll run it anyway".

Bolivar: I didn't know he always spoke for free. I've heard him crack that his fee is $100,000 but that was just him messing with people that called the show to ask him to come to their events.

I almost logged in there to share that info on Gore and Clinton with those moonbats, but it wouldn't have done any good.

Media outlets always lead with a Palin story (either truth or fiction) to get people to read their words.

Plainly and simply, Sarah sells.

Except for the One, there is no Democrat that anyone wants to read about.

But, Sarah sells.

That's why Time put her on the cover of its (soon to be extinct) mag a few weeks ago.

It was such a hot pic that I almost bought it, but I picked it up and it seemed to be about 25 pages.

I couldn't justify spending $5.00 on a veritable bag of air, notwithstanding the Sarah pic on the cover.

I read the Politico article and it sounded like Sarah was beeing a little greedy.

Then I read a fact check of it and saw that it wasn't a story, but a made up controversy with no substance whatsoever.

Al Gore left office 9 years ago with a $1.0 million net worth, no marketable skills and a voice and message which grate on most people, and now he is believed to be worth $100million as a result of creating green hedge funds designed to make people feel good about burning petro-carbons and paying a modest penance to Al with a promise of planting trees in the Amazon or something like that.

But you don't read about that in the media.

No, you hear about Sarah charging $100 K a speech.

Shame on Politico for creating a controversy where none existed.

Sarah is smarter and more politically savvy than Politico, the MSM and the sorry political hacks who engineered the GOP's total relinquishment of power to the Democrats over a period of 2 years, the same people Tim Pawlenty recently hired, I might add.

Anyone who believes anything that that mincing, lisping p.o.s. named Albert Gore, Jr. says deserves to be defrauded of their money.
