Media's Sarah Angst, and the Boob

PAINTING A BULL'S EYE ON NEW YORK CITY
I know it sounds a bit bizarre,
But in Obamalot, Obamalot
That's how conditions are.

Fact-Checking the "Fact-Checkers"
... the Associated Press assigned 11 writers to "fact-check" Sarah Palin's new book...

Palin "Vindictiveness" in Her New Book?

Her Side of the Story
"Going Rogue" refers to the snide remark of an anonymous McCain aide late in last year's presidential campaign. to describe the vice-presidential candidate's move to break free of her media handlers and speak out against the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan ...

And ... for the Republican Party ...
David Brooks Derides Palin as a 'Joke' and 'Talk Show Host'
Bob Woodward:
I agree with David on this. You talk to Republicans and they say they voted for Obama because Sarah Palin was John McCain's pick.

The One’s world apology tour.
"The bow as he performed did not just display weakness in Red State terms, but evoked weakness in Japanese terms....The last thing the Japanese want or need is a weak looking American president and, again, in all ways, he unintentionally played that part." (Kyoto News would not run the photo, out of embarrassment for Teh One)
Tapper source:  Nixon bending to greet the the diminutive Emperor Hirohito  is equivalent.

I keep seeing Dems make this BS claim. However, any Republicans I know explain their vote for McCain either be because of Palin getting them to hold their nose and vote for him or fear of Obama's socialism got them to vote for McCain. Folks who voted for Obama who might be normally Republicans did so mainly because of the novelty of voting for a black guy so they could pretend that means they're not racist. Oddly enough that really means they were casting a race based vote. A contributing factor was McCain generated no enthusiasm. Palin did generate enthusiasm, but people vote for the top of the ticket not the number two.

Maybe Woodward hangs out with the cocktail party type of "Republican" (Noonan).

They talk to a few country club republicans, and they expand that into..."You talk to Republicans and..."

Bullshit, Bob, but nice try.

Davis Brooks is the classic Rockefeller Republican who still run the party. To paraphrase Alice Kramden, "Big Deal! Party of What?"

Bob Woodward had better hope that obamacare has one hell of a mental health plan because he is obviously out in lala land.

The gist of things in the real world is "I voted for Sarah Palin and old what's his face"

Maybe the Rino A$$hats should join Sarah on one of her runs in 30 below. It would definitely clean up the gene pool.

Make no mistake, Sarah is the potential 2012 candidate that Dems fear most.

That's why the supposedly well-meaning independent journos like Woodward are trying to take her down, but he (and most of his ilk have no current influence outside of their liberal echo chambers).

Hillary is the potential candidate that Obama fears most, but that is a different matter.

And Newsweek is a joke.

It doesn't have enough readership to keep it going (I think it laid off more staff last week).

What little readership it has is slipping through its fingers like a handful of sand.

Got into a big discussion at the Country Club last Friday...nine of us, the remnants of three groups.

To a man we are all looking for a Libertarian outlook from our candidates. Of course, we live in Oregon so we've had to live with progressives, proto-progressives, neo-progressives and moderate Republicans longer than you.

Sarah!

What these clowns miss is that there are significant numbers of Americans who would just as soon live in a state that refused to obey or enforce any federal statute not granted by the Constitution. We are ready to fight and die for that liberty. So what happens to the GOP as currently constituted is irrelevant.
