Today's Quiz

Is It the NBA Or the NFL?
 Among it's membership -
  • 36 have been accused of spousal abuse

  • 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
  • (with more businesses being added to the list daily)
  • 3 have done time for assault
  • 71, repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
  • 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
  • 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
  • 21 currently are defendants in lawsuits, and
  • 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

I was thinking of neither the NBA nor the NFL, because not enough shootings are listed, but another not-so-athletic group. I'll leave it at that.

I think it was Teddy Roosevelt (or maybe Mark Twain) who said "When they call the role in the Senate, the Senators aren't sure if they should answer 'Present' or 'Not guilty'".

If pro is the opposite of con, what is the opposite of progress?
