In Passing - Suicide is a sin

In Passing
I decided we have but two choices

Barney - flipping out?
Normally a powerful chairman like Frank could squash a GOP amendment like Ron Paul’s bill to rein in the Federal Reserve  ..... (Frank wins - Ron Paul votes against Audit the Fed) --- But, Wait! House Passes Bill to Audit the Fed

See Sarah Palin out-Shatner William Shatner on 'The Tonight Show'
“It’s only appropriate then,” she said, “that I read a few choice excerpts from Mr. Shatner’s autobiography.” Behind her, a bassist, bongo player and flautist as she recited from "Up Till Now: The Autobiography":

Pappy
Evening. Looks like Connecticut Democrats may go with a 'Replace Dodd' option; asking him to step aside and having state Attorney General (and perpetual Governor/Senate candidate) Richard "Dick" Blumenthal or U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy run instead. ... Odds are the WH and Senate

Democrat leadership will also put pressure on Senator Sandwich to retire, perhaps to a nice little cottage in Ireland.

Do Nothing, Majority Says -
ObamaCare is now almost as unpopular as it is monstrous.
Reid - kiss my tobacco juice stained ass.

"Snakes on a Plane Would Be Banned Under Senate Bill"
Not to mention forcing Pelosi to AMTRAK
Curmudgeonly & Skeptical

Dennis Miller: Swingin' Copenhagen
Deniers will be disparaged, data will be fudged and theories will be advanced that are, if possible, even more wing-nuttier than some of the claptrap currently out there. If heretofore depictions of Manhattan under water in the year 2057 were shown to sixth-graders, they're going to have to drop it down to preschoolers in deference to the Gullibility Expansion Joint.

Hollywood and Howard Zinn's Marxist Education Project
The two most important questions for society, according to the Greek philosopher Plato, are these: What will we teach our children? And who will teach them?

Speaking of Howard Zinn ...
His biggest Hollywood booster Matt Damon is starring in "Indictus," about Nelson Mandela. Even with Morgan Freeman,  I can't wait to not see it.

I think she did herself a world of good. Don't you think Shatner was in on it?

Ynno -- kinda made me wanna read Shatner's book.

[yeah Bill was in on it -- he was doing dang-near Jack Benny-esque takes! good work, Bill!]

Of course Shatner was in on it. However, the question of the hour is... did you intentionally misspell the title of the movie, or was it freudian? Either way, it works.

Two thoughts. First, in all of these Palin appearances with the "other side", the other side loves her after they meet her. She's obviously very charismatic.

Second, Americans love people who can give AND TAKE a joke. The more of her they see the better it is for her. She very well may be your next pres.

Can you see Obama reacting with that kind of class to someone ragging him like that from A of Hope? Me neither.

I don't know if Shatner was in on it or not, Roger. I would like to think so. But fact is I don't trust any of those sumbitches in Hollywood except maybe Selleck and a few others here and there.

Shatner, inside a single week, has humanized the terrible GOP twosome, Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin.

Maybe, just maybe he is turning from the Dark Side. My bad, wrong movies. Star Trek, not Star Wars! Beam me up, Scotty.

One of his best friends is Mancow ... stuff rubs off. BTW, does Mancow ever appear on Fox and Friends anymore? I quit watching when they dumped E.D.
