Obama sets stage for using budget maneuver to 'pass' Obamacare

Obamalini - Public Enemy #1

Since Americans are too stupid to appreciate the joy  total enslavement under their Marxist gummint can bring, and despite, and because  Democrats enjoy a super majority in Congress but still can't pass it constitutionally, ruling Marxists threaten to enact Obama Care with a parliamentary move called "Reconciliation."   If you read that short description, it will be apparent that the only way this monster could be enacted through reconciliation is if democrats, straightaway, insert the entire Bill into an otherwise empty piece of legislation without sending it to a vote.  No  fkn way Jose.  Ezra Klein details some of the havoc they can achieve through that process, but it falls far short of giving Obama what he wants.  That they would if they could  is reason to run them out of office on a rail. If they try it anyway - try to impose it on us extralegally, we can extinct them for overthrowing the constitution.  Seems to me.  But it won't come to that, thank God.

Supreme Commander Dwight Eisenhower gives the order of the day “Full victory – Nothing else” to paratroopers of the 101st Airborne Division at the Royal Air Force base in Greenham Common, England, three hours before the men board their planes to participate in the first assault wave of the invasion of the continent of Europe, June 5, 1944.  He holds a picture of Nazi George Soros, asking that he be captured and hanged.(AP Photo)

On this 8th anniversary of  Islam's declared war on the United States, Merrily sent me this link to remarkable pictures posted on the 65th Anniversary of D-Day.   You didn't have to be alive in 1944 to understand today the magnitude of  that invasion against Hitler's Nazis in Europe, only afforded a basic education in history not written by Howard Zinn and the Comrades. Some speculate that had today's Democrats been in power back then we'd all be speaking German today.  Nonsense. Back then, when treason was a crime, they'd have been beaten, hanged or shot.  Trust me.

The thing about the bully pulpit is that Presidents can make the most fantastic claims and it takes days to sort the reality from the myths. So as a public service, let's try to navigate the, er, remarkable Medicare discussion that President Obama delivered on Wednesday. It isn't easy.(WSJ ED)

The President's Tort Two-Step
On Wednesday the president told Congress "I will not stand by while the special interests use the same old tactics to keep things exactly the way they are."

Be Civil, You Damn Liar
Were we alone in being put off by the president's tone last night? He came across at petulant and thin-skinned. "We did not come to fear the future," he said toward the end of the speech. "We came here to shape it." And how dare anyone stand in our way?

Hangin' Harry by Proxy

crooks of a feather
…don’t know if this true or how correct but it made me laugh.  Thought I would share.

It just all depends on how you look at some things...
Judy Wallman, a professional genealogy researcher in southern California , was doing some personal work on her own family tree. She discovered that Congressman Harry Reid's great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor.
The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows  in Montana territory:

On the back of the picture Judy obtained during her research is this inscription: 'Remus Reid, horse thief, sent to Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the Montana Flyer six times. Caught by Pinkerton detectives, convicted and hanged in 1889.'
So Judy recently e-mailed Congressman Harry Reid for information about their great-great uncle.
Harry Reid:
Believe it or not, Harry Reid's staff sent back the following biographical sketch for her genealogy research:
"Remus Reid was a famous cowboy in the  Montana  Territory . His business empire grew to include acquisition of valuable equestrian assets and intimate dealings with the  Montana railroad. Beginning in 1883, he devoted several years of his life to government service, finally taking leave to resume his dealings with the railroad. In 1887, he was a key player in a vital investigation run by the renowned Pinkerton Detective Agency. In 1889, Remus passed away during an important civic function held in his honour when the platform upon which he was standing collapsed."
NOW THAT's how it's done, Folks!
Thanks to Harry and his friends we've learned that what's important here isn't the truth.  What's important are Alinsky's Rule 5Rule 6, and  Rule 8.  And it helps that the story comports with what is know about the subject, which it certainly does.
