The Crazy Polack

I KNOW!
Let's Ask Zbig

The Carter Brain Trust - 1978

Drawing from vast experience gained as Jummy Carter's National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski advises Jummy Jr. to Shoot Down Israeli Jets; "A Liberty in Reverse"
In a little noticed interview with the Daily Beast (presumably little noticed because serious people don't read the Daily Beast), Zbigniew Brzezinski suggests that Barack Obama do more than just refuse to support an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear sites -- the American president must give the order to shoot down Israeli aircraft as they cross Iraqi airspace:

DB: How aggressive can Obama be in insisting to the Israelis that a military strike might be in America’s worst interest?

Brzezinski: We are not exactly impotent little babies. They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch?

DB: What if they fly over anyway?

Brzezinski: Well, we have to be serious about denying them that right. That means a denial where you aren’t just saying it. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a Liberty in reverse.

Contrary to Brezinski's half-hearted disclaimer that no one wishes for such an outcome, there are plenty on the left who would delight in a pitched battle between the United States and Israel. Democrats in Congress routinely support resolutions affirming Israel's right to take whatever steps it deems necessary to assure its own national defense. And Obama has at least paid lip service to the concept. But hostility to Israel among the rank and file is very real on the left -- and among "realists." - continue, but don't tell anyone I sent you.

Manifestly a 'crat

I'll just pony up right now

I'll bet everything I own against a stale doughnut that she is a dimocrat.

Talk Like a Pirate Day

"It's only me grass to tickle your ass!"
Said Barnacle Bill the Sailor.
Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day Me Hearties
Back in June of 1995,two guys were playing racquetball when an injury caused one of them to scream "AAARRRR!" From there, the two began talking like pirates, and decided that Sept. 19th (an ex-wife's birthday) would be International Talk Like a Pirate Day. The holiday began as an inside joke, but when Dave Barry wrote a column about it in 2002, the joke grew into a full-blown celebration.
In recognition of the Birth of the World ...

Shanah tovah, matey! The quirks of the lunar calendar mean Talk Like A Pirate Day 2009 falls on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year and day of remembrance. We've heard from rabbis contemplating how to incorporate pirattitude into their services, an Israeli who plans to pray like a pirate and others - but the best take we've seen on this cosmic coincidence comes from the Jewschool blog, offering 10 ways to incorporate pirate talk into the Rosh Hashanah liturgy.

So jine me tonight matey as we open wide our windows and sing the lusty version of Barnacle Bill the Sailor     Here's the melody and cadence for you landlubbers.

Obamunist Saturday

In Passing
passing through the Obama cesspool that is.
Health reformers targeting 'enemies'
Health Care for America Now (HCAN), which is backed by a coalition of labor unions and liberal groups including ACORN and MoveOn.org, organized the protests to target insurance companies and drafted the plan, which describes the demonstrations as part of its "insurance enemies project."

Court tears off a McCain-Feingold testicle - er, tentacle.
"The First Amendment, as interpreted by the Supreme Court, protects the right of individual citizens to spend unlimited amounts to express their views about policy issues and candidates for public office," the court ruling said. The First Amendment also "safeguards the right of citizens to band together and pool their resources as an unincorporated group or nonprofit organization in order to express their views about policy issues and candidates for public office."

Seven Former CIA Directors Tell Obama to Rein in Holder
The only obvious reason to re-open those investigations and devote precious resources to this witch hunt are political. The investigating US Attorney determined that prosecution was warranted in the case of one CIA contractor and he prosecuted that case, getting a conviction. "If criminal investigations closed by career prosecutors during one administration can so easily be reopened at the direction of political appointees in the next, declinations of prosecution will be rendered meaningless."

 Global warming propaganda infiltrates schools

Scientists see no temperature increase (on average) in the oceans or on the surface of the Earth over the last decade. That hasn't stopped an activist group from infiltrating high schools with the panicky message that we are on the verge of a "planetary emergency" due to global warming. [Why isn't this seen as child abuse?]

Clown Tears

Day old pie tastes good.
Have some more.

You can listen to Limbaugh's "Tears of a Clown" segment above (80 sec).  I imagine sights like this did make Speaker Hankey's
Official Poo
sphincter pucker up.

Still, the lefty NEW REPUBLIC,  though clueless about what it was all about,  reported:

On Saturday, September 12, America threw a gigantic temper tantrum in Washington D.C. Organizers called it the “largest gathering of fiscal conservatives in history,” and they’re probably right. But for an angry, anti-government fit, the march was remarkably civil.

A hell of a lot more civil than the doped up diseased hippies Pelosi remembers.  But a few cells in that corn encrusted brain of hers seem to be popping. If the Obamunists continue pursuing this socialist agenda, I now believe, a mess of folks will be stepping up to the plate, this time with "water cans." And so does she.

God I love this country.  Hate this government though.
