Dim Bulbs

Christmas Lights
Res Ipsa Loquitor

I love Christmas lights. They remind me of the people who voted for Obama.

They all hang together; half of the little bastards don't work; and the ones that do aren't that bright.

Campus Idiots For Obama

                      —   you berks.

I can’t resist this delicious piece of video from an Obama rally at a Ohio university from our friends at Revealing Politics. The way Kelly Maher tells it, this endeavor started innocently as a project to determine whether rank-and-file Obama supporters had bought the line about Benghazi being caused by a YouTube video. As you’ll see, none of them is even capable of buying a line. [FULL-HOT AIR]

I guess their political science professors didn't discuss this in class.  A very good guess.  And it's not because they're stupid.  I have people just like them in my universe.  People who, in all other regards might be described a brilliant.  But when it comes to politics, their minds have just surrendered to dark forces.  Unfortunately, my response is more, "how stupid are you?" than trying reason.  Like I once would have.   But can't anymore.  Don't be like me.  Keep trying to reason with them.  Even if they act like the dumbest people on God's Earth.  Goddammit!  They've kilt us all.

With a name like Jihad ...

With a name like "Jihad......"
come certain expectations

Res Ipsa Loquitur

I found this story you'd think was from The Onion.

"
…but one of the two students arrested for calling in bomb threats at Butler High School, Matthews, NC, is named
(wait for it):

Jihad Donovan Glover "

But don’t worry— official word is that .... there’s no word on a motive for the fake bomb threats.

Will no one rid us of these canker-blossoms?

Liberal Culture

Rodge, I think you're way off base when you say there is no rapprochement possible with the Liberal knob wankers in our country who cause so much intolerable vexation, and that they ought be dropped from a helicopter into an active volcano even though that's silly because—  because there are 30+ million of them and even if we used every chopper in the country it would take .... wait --   pi(x) = \sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{\mu(n)}{n}\Pi(x^{1/n}) = \Pi(x) -\frac{1}{2}\Pi(x^{1/2})-\frac{1}{3}\Pi(x^{1/3}) +\frac{1}{4}\Pi(x^{1/4}) -\frac{1}{5}\Pi(x^{1/5}) +\frac{1}{6}\Pi(x^{1/6}) - \cdots zeta(s) = 2^s\pi^{s-1}\ \sin\left(\frac{\pi s}{2}\right)\ \Gamma(1-s)\ \zeta(1-s) \!.  ... okay,  it would take a long  long time.  Is it worth all that?

Res Ipsa Loquitur

Yes.  Oh, sweet jeezuz, yes. .

How Stupid Are They?

Democrats on a roll

A new poll shows a closer-than-expected special election contest for the open seat in New York’s strongly Democratic 9th Congressional district. Five weeks before voters in the Queens- and Brooklyn-based district go to the polls, Democratic state Assemblyman David Weprin led Republican businessman Robert Turner 48 percent to 42 percent in a Siena College poll.

A twist in the short race came in late July when former New York Mayor Ed Koch (D) endorsed Turner. Koch said that a vote for the Republican would serve as a reprimand to President Barack Obama for his stance on Israel. [Roll Call]

In the meanwhile,  the brainiacs who gave us Obamacare and bankruptcy announced a sequel to their 2009 copy of the Tea Party.  Remember?

This new Pee-Party II movement [Liberal groups aim for counter-punch to Tea Party] have released the Contract from the American Dream, a response to the Tea Party-crafted Contract from America, and a reprise of Pelosi's 2006 "Contract on America." Here's your "American Dream."
10 Critical Steps to Get Our Economy Back on Track

I. Invest in America's Infrastructure
II. Create 21st Century Energy Jobs
III. Invest in Public Education
IV. Offer Medicare for All
V. Make Work Pay (Americans have a right to fair minimum and living wage)
VI. Secure Social Security
VII. Return to Fairer Tax Rates
VIII. End the Wars and Invest at Home
IX. Tax Wall Street Speculation
X. Strengthen Democracy

A lot of thought went into that one, didn't it.  How do we ever lose to these schmucks?

They can count to potato

Krauthammer slams Tea Party attackers’ ‘lack of intelligence’

Call Me Tater Tot

In the aftermath of the debt ceiling deal struck between congressional Republicans, congressional Democrats and the White House, concessions made by Democrats have caused some on the left to lash out at the Tea Party. But where is this show of anger — with epithets like “hostage takers,” “terrorists” and “thugs” flying around — coming from?

Despite Krauthammer’s low regard for the Tea Party’s left-wing detractors, O’Reilly insisted talking points were still circulating, which suggested a concerted effort. Krauthammer dismissed that notion.

“Look, what it means to me is you’ve got people with no intelligence, no originality, no imagination,” he said. “They are sputtering. They have lost. No arguments. What do they do? They want ad hominems. They want epithets. So, somebody uses it on the air — ‘Ah ha, that’s a good one. I’ll use it.’ I don’t credit them [with] the intelligence or the sort of, what it takes to put together a conspiracy.”

I'd have to be as retarded as  Wasserman Schultz   to argue with Krauthammer.

War On The Horizon LOL

Chris writes via E-Mail
Libs may think a war isn't coming, but these guys sure do...

War on the Horizon Creed

War on the Horizon
Afrikan people are an international racial family who share a common: homeland (Afrika), historical origin, racial makeup, culture, destiny, and a bitter enemy – the white race. We are challenged by our common destiny to eradicate the system of racism white supremacy and its benefactors in order to establish righteous Black Dominion over this planet.

We are mandated by our Creator to return to our proper status as rulers of this world.  It is within the full rights and responsibility of every member of the Black world family to see to it that this ultimate goal is achieved so that we may once again restore peace and prosperity to Planet Earth under the divine and just leadership of God’s first people – The Black man, woman, and child of Afrika.

May our Black Brothers and Sisters see eternal progress,

May our International Friends reap the benefits of refined Black leadership and,

May all of our global enemies perish by means of our Black swords.

War on the Horizon

We’ll See You on the Battlefield!

The  War on the Horizon website decor is early New Orleans whorehouse.  It  spouts Afro-centric dogma popularized by Ivy League professors Leonard Jeffries (Columbia) and Cornell West (Princeton) in the late 80's, and continuing through today. In some respects War on the Horizon is like this blog.  People angry about WTF is happening to their culture.  Except their culture is largely created from whole cloth, and they're too ignorant/stupid to know the whence of their anger.

The Effeminization of the Black Male had its roots in the matriarchal black culture created by LBJ's Great Society.  Entitlement programs, free rent, free food and free money,  enticed black teen-aged girls to get knocked up in order to escape mommy and daddy's thumb.  Those  entitlements were largely contingent upon there being no male presence in the household.  If social workers found a man in the house, snip-snip. So guess who was made obsolete? I'll warrant that  not one man in this group ever voted any but the Democrat of Communist party ticket.

Blah - Blah - Helter Skelter - Blah

Howard Stern interviews Cornell West (played by Billy West).  Like any good parody, and this is one, the truth is there.  You are sitting in their respective classrooms.

Carol Moseley Braun

Just Because
The dumbest person EVER to be a
U.S. Senator doesn’t understand

Carol Mosley Supid-Bitch
"With this fund-raising being as successful as it is, as God is my witness, I will not go hungry again." -- Moseley-Braun

Carol Felsenthal: When was the last time you talked to Carol Moseley Braun? Does she plan another political race?

Tom Carey: I called her today. She wants to sit down and talk to me. I think she’s perplexed about her role in public life. She wants to know how she stays politically alive. How can she come back? She wants to understand fully what happened—she doesn’t understand yet. [Tom Carey, Adviser to Carol Moseley Braun, Weighs in on Her Campaign]
Some things are just so horribly wrong from the get-go, that I can never forgive or forget the trauma I incurred just living through them.  I mean, where I was forced to reevaluate every truth ever held; where 1+1 was suddenly 7.   Sen. Carol Moseley Braun is one.

Hitler Was A Union Buster

HITLER WAS A UNION BUSTER
Wisconsin Unions

Steven Hayward managed to slip away from business long enough to visit the  capitol in the daylight, and capture the scene inside at the moment Governor Walker signed the bill eliminating collective bargaining for some classes of Wisconsin public employees. Above is another quickly-edited, four-minute highlight reel.

"The scene is really rather feeble, as you will see, but nonetheless conveys the infantilism of the modern left. This time I offer some voice-over commentary of my own, but couldn't resist calling in reinforcements from Monty Python on a couple of points. The old saying "It's all over but the shouting" almost doesn't apply, since the shouting going on is so lame. "

Comrade factory workers on strike

Re: infantilism of the modern left: The part I obviously liked was the "Hitler Was a Union Buster" sign.  As opposed to ...?  All the other totalitarian regimes -- that encourage the PFW (People's Factory Workers) to strike for better wages?   Regimes, btw, that many of these organize protesters represent.

Saying that Sheilah Jackson Lee is the biggest ass-hat in congress would be a great disservice to the many other Democrat asshats, but sheesh. But, coals to Newcastle - watch the video.

The incoming president of The Business Roundtable, which was once President Obama’s strongest ally in the private sector, said Monday that much of the group’s work on health care over the next two years will be looking for how Obama’s health care overhaul might “threaten” the ability of employers to continue providing insurance.Business Roundtable to scrutinize Obamacare for problems blah-blah-blah

Don't get me wrong.  I'\m tickled that wanting an appearance of sense and reason is holding sway, but these organizations have forfeited any expectation that people will give a rat's ass about what they say.  That rhymes.

Those brilliant democrats.

Lessons from Bill
Clinton outfoxed a Republican Congress, but is Obama as nimble?

Just a week after Election Day, Henry Cisneros, then secretary of housing and urban development, was among those attending a small meeting at the White House. “The president was livid,” recalled Cisneros. “Frustrated. Angry beyond words . . . But in that same conversation came the beginnings of a concept, which was, if it’s going to be ugly, you may as well make it a showdown between yourself and Gingrich . . . Let it be a test of ideas.”

The White House adopted a new terminology. “Over and over again,” recalls Mike McCurry, then White House press secretary, “we used the words ‘radical’ and ‘extreme’ interchangeably to discuss the priorities of the new Republican leadership in Congress.” [full]

Clinton outfoxed Republicans? - There was no FOX

In a nutshell, here's how Democrats "won" the last two major budget show-downs with Republicans, and what promises to be another in 2011.

1990
1995
        2011
The Trigger
Bush-41 invokes his "Read My Lips-No New Taxes" campaign promise.  Refuses to sign Democrat budget w/ tax increase.
Led by Speaker Gingrich, congress presents budget that cuts taxes and spending.                New Teaparty  congress moves to undo Obama's radical legislation.
Democrat Response
AFSCME assures Democrats that union will scream bloody murder if Bush shuts down government.

The culprit. George Bush who was forced by his own advisers to cave.
AFSCME assures Clinton that union will keep silent if he calls Newt's bluff and shuts-down government.

The culprit: Newt Gingrich. Only informed citizens hate Clinton's guts.
Obamunists discuss building concentration camps behind closed doors; publicly call new congress Nazi-like (really)

Maggie's fine peg

Libtards bite off nose to spite face!

I was privileged to be watching C-Span one Sunday evening when PM Thatcher rebutted a Liberal silliness with, "What the gentleman is saying is he'd accept the poor being poorer as long as the rich were less rich."  Whoa - by golly here is that clip.  It's exactly  true  of liberals - a.k.a nascent socialists - everywhere.  What made me think of it is this.

On a mission to show that Palin's book is selling much worse than, say, the idea of reading Osama Bin Laden his Miranda rights, the San Francisco Chronicle  interviewed several local booksellers to find out how well sales of "Going Rogue" were not going:

"Our customers are thinking people," said Nathan Embretson, a bookseller at Pendragon Books in Oakland. "They're not into reading drivel."

"Anything like that we wouldn't carry," said clerk Emily Stackhouse at Cover to Cover Books in San Francisco. "We're a small store and it would probably gross us all out. Some things you carry because of freedom of speech, but a book like that is just gross."

Apparently the job of a "bookseller" in and around San Francisco is not so much to sell product, but rather to give comfort to like-minded individuals and convert the remaining unwashed masses to lockstep ideology. Politics trumps profit, even though profit generates the much needed tax revenue, job growth, and consumer spending this state dearly needs.

Do check out Dirk Salvo's full account, if only for the sales figures of recent Donk books, and Dirk's delicious ending bon mot .
