MoSup gets to choose our dinner hour TV, as long as it's TIVO'd so we don't watch commercials, and is devoid of politics. Oprah was kicked off the menu last year after selling her black soul, with our bodies, to Obama.  Since then it's been a mish-mash.  Decorator Candice Olson is a favorite, along with a variety of garden shows, etc, that I put up with.  Lately the Sup's been enamored with Cash Cab, which I like okay.  I guess since it's a Manhattan cab the contestants ride in, this was inevitable.  Tonight, in a single half-hour, contestants were asked these questions.

Who called Rush Limbaugh a Big Fat Liar in his book by the same name? (missed)
What conservative talk show host admitted to being hooked on the drug OxyContin? (answered correctly)

How transparent can you be?  The writers are obviously punching their ticket with the Democrat Media Complex.  I'm an unforgiving consumer, however, so that show is off the schedule. Forever.  Not that losing me matters I guess.  At age 92 I'm way outside the desirable age demographic, and I TIVO over commercials.  But I believe in the 5% rule.  Anything that pisses me off will piss off at least 5% of everyone else.  That's how I ruined so many Hollywood careers, and sent profits down the drain.

Stealing Freedom

Inside that donk majority ...

This story is unfolding in upstate New York and it does involve a group of people submitting absentee ballots for some real citizens. Citizens who did not vote or were denied their right to vote based on an absentee ballot already being on record for them. [Voter Fraud In Upstate New York ]

We know for certain that the current Democrat super majority was fraudulently achieved, because we know for certain that Al Franken was not elected Senator from Minnesota.  Not really.  My gut feeling is that at least 10 percent of house democrats, and  6-7 donk senators  were  fraudulently elected.  That's bad enough, but this is worse.  I no longer have faith in the United States election process, and I'm not alone.  My feeling is that those who steal office are stealing our hard won freedoms.  The penalty should be death. That goes for those who abet the crime. Dead serious.

Kill that fkr granny - Kill! Kill!

My, my.  The 1000 page  Obamacare bill is now the 1500 page Obamacare bill.   One of the key elements, it seems, is to place a 40% tax on all private insurance to make them "less attractive" (unaffordable).  Once passed, the same gambit will be used to rid America of other Liberal annoyances.  Like a $5/per bullet tax.  That's how they think.  But back to that Obamacare page inflation, and what it heralds. (70 Words)

Washington has just run a $1.4 trillion budget deficit for fiscal 2009, even as we are told a new health-care entitlement will reduce red ink by $81 billion over 10 years. To believe that fantastic claim, you have to ignore everything we know about Washington and the history of government health-care programs. For the record, we decided to take a look at how previous federal forecasts matched what later happened. It isn't pretty.

Let's start with the claim that a more pervasive federal role will restrain costs and thus make health care more affordable. We know that over the past four decades precisely the opposite has occurred. Prior to the creation of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965, health-care inflation ran slightly faster than overall inflation. In the years since, medical inflation has climbed 2.3 times faster than cost increases elsewhere in the economy. Much of this reflects advances in technology and expensive treatments, but the contrast does contradict the claim of government as a benign cost saver.

Next let's examine the record of Congressional forecasters in predicting costs. Start with Medicaid, the joint state-federal program for the poor. The House Ways and Means Committee estimated that its first-year costs would be $238 million. Instead it hit more than $1 billion, and costs have kept climbing.

Thanks in part to expansions promoted by California's Henry Waxman, a principal author of the current House bill, Medicaid now costs 37 times more than it did when it was launched—after adjusting for inflation. Its current cost is $251 billion, up 24.7% or $50 billion in fiscal 2009 alone, and that's before the health-care bill covers millions of new beneficiaries. (and there's more here)

See what I'm saying.  My 70 word memo became 334 words in a twinkling.  It's what gummint does.  But, what do patriots do with out of control gummints?  That's right, they get rid of them the quickest  way possible.  That's a debate worth having.  I think it's hanging.

Short List Summary of
Government Failures

To President Obama and all 541 voting members of Congress:   It is now official-- you are ALL corrupt morons.

 Rick Beckham sent this ...
The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775; you have had 234 years to get it right, and it's broke.  There are others....

Social Security was established in 1935; you have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938; you have had 71 years to get it right, and it's broke.

The War on Poverty started in 1964-- you had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor," and they only want more!

Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965; you've had 44 years to get it right-- and yes, they are almost broke.

Freddie Mac was established in 1970; you've had 39 years to get it right, and it's broke.

The  Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil, it has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year...  but today we import more oil than ever before!  You had 32 years to get it right but sadly it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every 'government service' you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars... And You Want Americans To Believe You  Can  Be Trusted With a Government-Run Health Care System??

Are you crazy, or do you just believe all Americans are imbeciles?
