Messican Killers

 Mexicans of the Bad Kind



This is a clip from a documentary about the Mexican drug cartels.  I sums up in 90 seconds what we're up against.  Check out Rolling Stone's Investigation  (first posted last September) for a look into how sophisticated they've become, and how utterly pathological they remain.  Looking at how we're dealing with al-Qaeda terrorists in this country will tell you how much chance we have of ending the threat.  Which is why I should be running Homeland Security.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — Law enforcement officials say a group of armed men stormed a party in this violent northern border city, killing 13 teens and young adults and injuring about two dozen.

My mother has retired to Mexico. I have lived there off and on for about 30 years.

Mexico is much safer than the US unless you are involved in the drug trade. Every Mexican knows how valuable the gringo tourist trade is, and most will go out of their way to help, more out of common decency than in calculation.

Remember the crack epidemic twenty years ago? In New Haven, where I have a business, around 90 people were killed in one year. All but about 6 of those people were connected to the crack trade. Six is still about the average number of murders in a year in New Haven.

Don't let the scare mongers keep you from checking out a great and very fun country.

Juarez is across the ditch from El Paso, TX, not SanDiego, CA, FWIW.
Thirty+ years ago, we scared the sh*t out of my late Ma threatening to bring back liquor w/o declaring it...
Drugs not so beeg then.
This attitude is being imported large scale, cf: Los Angeles, Phx, etc. If not stopped, we will all have to have that $20 or $50 clipped to our drivers license when we get stopped... I'm just sayin'
