SOBs

State and local workers and union
members are exempted until 2017!

The White House has reached a deal with health care negotiators, including labor unions, on taxing the high-level "Cadillac" plans that workers with high-risk jobs often purchase.

Guess we'll all have to join the Conservative Taxpayers' Union.
Annual membership dues = $1.00
Wonder if we can go out on strike next week?

I think we should form a Picketer's Union. Then whenever a union goes on strike, they use union picketers or we picket their picket line.

How can you have a tax that people who belong to unions are exempt from? Arn't we all entitled to equal protection of the laws? Lets exempt union members from the income tax.

Interesting - it's pretty much a given that all the people negotiating on behalf of the unions will be retired by then. So the tax won't impact them personally and they'll be long gone when their membership suddenly realizes they've been sold down the river.

Not exactly the most ethical behavior on the part of the union execs.

I'm sure their lawyers will come up with some kind of legal justification for only taxing the healthcare of Republicans ...
