Praise for Scott Brown being reserved

Scott BrownScott Brown's election to one of Massachusetts' Senate seats was a foregone conclusion to anyone watching the polls. Martha Coakley did not stand a chance on Election Day.  She was a dead woman walking for trying to sugar coat her support of unpopular policies.  No number of buses packed with ACORN bought voters or SEIU members could have saved her from her own incompetence.

But I am bothered.  In the wake of Mr. Brown's victory I see a lot of conservatives acting little better than giddy and foolish Democrats did upon the accession of Barack Obama to the left right hand of Nancy Pelosi Almighty.  Many of my fellow patriots on the right and correct side of the isle have a lot of good things to say about Scott Brown and his successful election bid for one of Massachusetts' Senate seats.  But at times they are downright deifying this man as the savior of our Republic.  While breaking the filibuster proof majority of the liberal Democrats in the Senate may be an important move, need I remind you that there is still Olympia Snowe lurking in the chamber's shadows for her shot at the limelight. And need I remind you that she can certainly not be trusted to form a coherent thought or support the concept of limited government? [continue]

That didn't take long

Let's be fair here. We knew he was going to be further to the left than we wanted. He supported a lot of things the dems did even as a republican. It should not be a surprise that he's going to side with them some. He's still better than having the democrat in the seat. On the bills that would be an utter catastrophe, I think we can count on him a lot more than his opponent would have.

Besides, nothing will stop the smile I get every time I think of pussbag kennedy's seat being won by a republican. That was just such a special send off for Teddy's going to hell boat. I only hope that after Satan's minions strapped him into the boat that they made him watch that election before disembarking. Mary Jo doing the Christening of Teddy's going to hell would be the finishing touch to that pussbags trip!

How big is Satan's dick? I don't know, ask Ted Kennedy, he's taking it in the ass every day now!

I agree with Chris. No Conservatives really thought he was going to be the Savior. Libs now saying "GOTCHA!" are doing it to an empty house. A Mass Repub is like a CA or HI one: spitting distance from being a Democrat. That detracts nothing from the signal his election sent, and that's all we needed him for. He can vote like a Dem from now on and I'll still be happy.

I think the libidiots have been plantin' charlatans like the brown clown for a long time. "Call yourself a "republican", get elected by those stupid conservatives, then quietly vote to promote the socialist agenda". Only way out is to kill 'em all.

RENO- the guy replaced Ted Kennedy. Next to the Swimmer, he's Ronald Reagan. But talk of him running for president as a republican is nonsense. Whoops, so was McCain come to think of it.
