Taliban Assault Breacher

Operation Moshtarek Underway
More than 15,000 American, British and Afghan troops have launched the
biggest offensive in Afghanistan since the overthrow of the Taliban in 2001.

Targeted is the Taliban-held districts of Marjah and Nad Ali in Helmand province.  Under the "make-nice" rules of engagement, "Nato had distributed leaflets in the Marjah area warning of the planned offensive in a bid to limit civilian casualties. Villagers said they warned Taliban fighters to leave the area or be killed."  The Taliban in return are expected to have planted many IEDs on the routes they expect troops to take. The good news is this new devil machine making its debut, an infiltration vehicle dubbed the Assault Breacher.  Check the video.

I always wanted an armored tiller and commuter vehicle. Is it environmentally friendly?
No?
I'll take two.

How long before the Marines find some off-design "fun" uses for this?

Eric "Hand" Holder: You have the right to remain silent.

Dick Cheney: I can assist you with that right.

toys, Toys, TOYS!

I want ONE! Especially with the explosive cord attachment. Great for clearing traffic jams in a single go.

Everything looks "cooler" with a good, fast-cut edit and a heavy metal soundtrack. Even if funding is greenlighted, it does not make this vehicle undefeatable, nor does it take the place of boots on the ground, and where do we stand with that, long term? - Curmudgeonly and skeptically yours, Vice Sgt Boone
