Union Teachers

Bar Talk

Deacon Blues     I found this quite incitful regarding the Teachers' Union.
George Parker, head of the Washington, D.C., teachers union, about the voucher program there, he said: "Parents are voting with their feet. ... As kids continue leaving the system, we will lose teachers. Our very survival depends on having kids in D.C. schools so we'll have teachers to represent."

"incitful"....WTF? Must have been taught by one of those union teachers.

I think that there are those who are incited by it.
Well, that's my insight on it.

Oh yes, do expect prefect spelling on a bulletin board.

That sounded more heavy handed than intended. Point: Good ideas trump bad grammar and spelling. It's mostly how I survive.

incitful - you wrote that Rodger?
I took the blue text to be an excerpt written by some drone at the WaPost who is a paid journalist and who has an editor, or maybe by one of the subject educrats.
I know better than to snip at bloggers who put up dozens of posts and ideas a day, especially the RKOF.
Please accept my apology, don't cut off my head as is your royal prerogative, and I'll slink back to my tailgunner seat and shut up.

no, I didn't write it. It's a quote from Deacon Blues at the O Club, one of my favorite haunts. Everyone is lit up there anyway.
