Ariz House: Check Obama's Citizenship

PHOENIX -- The Arizona House on Monday voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for reelection.

The House voted 31-22 to add the provision to a separate bill. The measure still faces a formal vote.

It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.

Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."

Mesa Republican Rep. Cecil Ash said he has no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship but supports the measure because it could help end doubt.
It will be very interesting to see how he, and with what argument, Obama objects.

Good to hear about AZ. However, we do have to be careful of one thing... It is possible that ozero's disqualification is not based on his first marxist dad and place of birth but rather on his SECOND marxist dad.

IOW, when he was in Indonesia, only indonesian citizens could go to school. Obama went to a muslim school. Ergo, he must have had citizenship perhaps by being adopted by Soetero. That could 'splain why he was able to travel to pakeestan (When US citizens could not)

So, any vetting needs to make sure that candidates answer a questionairre such as

1. Have you ever had citizenship with another country?

2. Have you ever renounced your US Citizenship?

etc..

There is a small possibility that the Hawaii is a feint and the real smoking gun is the Indonesian issue.

BTW - Supposedly Blago is 'going to drop a bombshell'... Hmmmmm

Kenyan cabinet minister James Orengo has no doubt where Barry was born. On page 31 of the Kenyan Parliament's "Weekly Plenary Hansard" of March 25, 2010 he asks, "If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation, how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the President of America?".

The hansard is available here. Click on "Download" to see it in a pdf format.

Like Obama, all of us depend on our parents to tell us where we were born. There will be countless forms that will ask "Place of Birth," and we'll plug that info in. Many of us will at some point be asked to produce the actual certificate. That's when some discover they were adopted, or other revelations.

I've little doubt that Barry Obama Soetoro went through some of his life believing that he was born in Hawaii. But, at some point he would have been asked to produce the birth certificate, and couldn't. Okay, maybe he proffered the "birth certificate" he claimed in his biography to have found in a trunk. Was it that meaningless Certification of Live Birth The Daily Kos pulled it out of a hat in 2008? I doubt it. Why? Because there have been at least three versions of that green document since Why improve on a real, if meaningless, document?

Moving forward, at some point Barry, and everyone else involved in his political career, became aware that he had no claim to U.S. citizenship, and decided to work around it. Maybe a resultant "in for a penny, in for a pound" mind set has allowed Pelosi, etc., to use unconstitutional methods to shove unconstitutional law down out throats? I wonder whether Time columnist Joe Klein would call all this "conspiracy to overthrow the United States government?" It is, you know.
