My day in the sun

A Sunshiny Day

Boned Jello

So far, it looks like this might be that day they say every dog has.  First, Gloria Estefan tried to play Oprah, and Miami's Cuban community, which means all of Miami, gave her hate.

The announcement that they would host the fundraiser for the president was only hours old when I started hearing friends and relatives talk about throwing away all their Gloria Estefan CDs. Soon bloggers were labeling them as traitors. In one swoop, all the good will they had built with so many followers, all the years of supporting nonpartisan causes such as freedom and human rights, seemed to disappear.

Sarah Palin seems to have regained her mojo.  I thought her relationship with FOX casted her the wrong way.  She's most effective as an independent voice, with a twitter here, and a jab there.  Yesterday she was in Boston, poking sticks in Obamunist eyes.

A roaring Tea Party crowd cheered on Sarah Palin on the Boston Common today as she slammed President Obama promising it’s “nothing a good old fashioned election can’t fix.”

George Soros began life as a 14 year old Hungarian Jew, pretending to be Christian while  helping Nazi's confiscate the property of other Jews on their way to the death camps.  He is still trading in human misery; still aligned with political monsters. What really perked me up then,  were comments made after this article. "Markets could be derailed again, warns Soros."

Every time government tries to straighten these ups and downs out they ALWAYS create the beginning of the next bubble, unwittingly, of course.

soros, what a joke–the markets need less regulation–let the people and the free markets work and you’ll see a stable economy. Government interference and regulation cause the instability–you should have gone to school in America.

criminal…..goes short and then talks the market down…

any resemblance to actual people unintended
Our country is being run by left wing socialist lunatics who are trying to turn us into a third world nation. It’s not an extremist opinion, it’s happening right now in front of your eyes.

Does it make you wonder how a man who makes over a billion dollars a year profiting from unstable markets, can be comlaining about market instability? The very vehicle which has made him one of the richest men in the world.

Someone please explain why he backed and bankrolled Obama’s election?

Yeah, wasn’t it Soros who so strongly supported the bank busting Obama? Soros = hypocrisy.

Thanks for the tip. Mr. Soros. I will now invest heavily in the stock market. Betting against you puts me on the side of the angels.

"lunatics who are trying to turn us into a third world nation" Not trying, but turning us into a third world nation. Yes, I'm afraid the damage has begun.

I work in Hialeah (Cuban Miami). The Cubans are PISSED OFF big time. First, they are her only audience. She is the sole remaining celeb in Miami. Its going to be an ugly divorce. Cubans don't let things slide, they paid for that 50 years ago. God Bless the Cuban Americans, they know what being American means.

I think the difference between Cubans and other Latino immigrants/illegals is just that. They know what living under Obamunist rule is like. The others are motivated by $$. What other reason could there be? Yeah, Mexicans have corrupt government, but that's their own fault. Miami Cubans essentially gave Dubya (and America) his 2000 victory because of the Gonzalez kid thing, so yeah, they have a memory. God bless 'em too.

Sadly, the damage has done far more than begun.

Aristotle once wrote: "Republics decline into democracies, and democracies degenerate into tyrannies." This once-great Republic declined into a democracy under Woodrow Wilson, who gave us the direct election of Senators, the Income Tax, and the Federal Reserve. Under the current bunch of gangsters, banksters and other assorted crooks, the degeneracy is nearly complete.
