Someone (maybe Will Rogers, maybe Mark Twain) said "These days, a Senator doesn't know whether he should answer "Present" or "Not guilty."

These are Wall Street types. On the far left is Lloyd Blankfein (current head of Goldman Sachs). Second from the right is Hank Paulson (Bush Treasury Secretary and former head of Goldman Sachs). Don't know who the other three are.

Also, I don't know why these guys should be in a criminal line up. If we are looking for the crooks behind the CDO-real estate meltdown, we know who should be there: Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters, Franklin Raines, Jaime Gorelick, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and the rest of the Dem party.

The first thing the Republicans should do after they take back the House is hold real hearings about what Fannie and Freddie did. Then shut down Fannie and Freddie permanently (burn down the buildings and sow the ground with salt -- like the Romans did with Carthage). Then hold public hangings of the real criminals.

A friend sent me this link. It allows the viewer to visualize what the Gulf oil spill would look like if it originated in their town.

It look me a while, but I decided it would be best if it originated in Delaware City DE. Not that I have anything against Delaware City, but I managed to coat NYC, Philly, Baltimore and DC in a nice coat of toxic waste. (Sorry if I hit your house, Rodger, but sometimes there has to be collateral damage.)
